Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaOn Friday morning (12/4/24) we enquired at the concierge regarding the train to Gatwick airport. Unfortunately, the concierge provided incorrect information that resulted in us having to travel to Hammersmith Station and cross to Victoria Station. By the time we arrived at Victoria Station we realised that we had missed our flight; anxiety was exacerbated when it was announced that the Gatwick Express was cancelled. We were then transferred to Southern Line and by the time we arrived at the check-in, the Iberia desk was closed. After being unable to find someone for assistance, we sourced the service desk, This resulted in us having to purchase full-price (AUD700) tickets and we also lost our booking for the private-car from the airport to the hotel. We then had to take a taxi from the airport to the hotel. We would greatly appreciate your feedback and process for travel reimbursement.
Excellent gym facilities; close to M&S.

United KingdomThe cost of this hotel is high and it in no way can be considered luxurious, it's interior room decor and facilities is no different to many other hotels half the price, in this case you are purely paying for the Hilton name and the central location. It very very busy especially if there's a conference or event. (There are restaurants bars and a cafe on ground floor which fill to bursting when an event is on)
It is a classic business standard hotel, clean white sheets, large TV and clean bathroom decorated nicely and comfortable in a great central London location .it's a very large busy hotel and is so busy it's pretty annoymous, which can be a plus or minus depending on your preference

United KingdomTelevision didnt work, asked for this to be fixed, but they just replaced the remote. Bathroom, hair from a previous guest was found around the bath overlow and around the sink. Hand wash and conditioner had run out, contacted guest services, then tried to ask the maid service, ended up with more hand lotion and shampoo(!?) Surly concierge.
Comfy beds, good breakfast, friendly and helpful staff on reception and door.

United KingdomOur payment for breakfast had not gone through and we were locked out of our room despite having already paid for the room rather than having breakfast denied until we paid at reception. I thought this was unreasonable. Also bowls and glasses were very warm at breakfast which ruined the taste of some cold food and drinks.
The hotel was very modern, clean and the rooms were beautiful. Staff friendly and helpful

United KingdomThe bathroom is a bit outdated, water pressure is not the best, and the pipes are probably clogged up as water in the tub took ages to drain. Breakfast queue was really bad, while some people were on their tablets and phones at tables after breakfast. Management should discourage this behaviour, it’s very ignorant to other guests waiting.
The location is great to reach the city centre through Hyde park, or to go to museums on foot. Also the underground is at the doorstep if you prefer that. On site parking is handy. Beds are comfortable.
