To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

IcelandUp on check out when we were making sure we were not leaving anything behind we did find rubbish ( including food ) from previous guests. So cleaning between guests was at a minimum. We did point that out at the desk when we checked out.
First time in London so we did not spend much time in the room. We did not take advantage of the breakfast. Location was good, not excellent but good. Would very well consider staying here again. Staff was polite.

Saudi Arabiathe room didn't have slippers; I forgot to pack mine so felt annoyed not to find any in the room it would be nice to have toiletries as well; ended up buying cotton buds from the pharmacy across the st. due to the location of the hotel, even though we were on the 22nd floor, the fact that you hear sirens all night was disturbing finally, the room service needs improving as you can clearly see the dust on top of the mini fridge which clearly was never wiped.
the hotel in general was bigger than expected, the cafe downstairs had good coffee and sandwiches, the room we stayed in was spacious and comfortable, the good thing about the location is everything was basically open during xmas so it wasn't difficult finding something to eat. the staff made our stay comfortable; the concierge team were very friendly and helpful since we got there, also the front desk guy was very helpful and made our stay extra special since we were celebrating our anniversary "unfortunately I never got to catch his name"

Coffee machine several times out of order, and the management didn't notice it; during the last hour of breakfast different products were no longer available. The toilet in the room got blocked several times in the morning; the staff was fixing the problem only in the late afternoon.

MaltaI would have liked the shower cubicle to be a bit more spacious.
I was allocated a room on the 20 floor of the tower. The room itself was very comfortable, cleaned daily. The view from the room was fantastic. Breakfast was also super with a choice for everyone's liking.

Omanstaff, I requested a blanket, and the immediate response was "I think we don't have more blankets" Then I requested them to check and confirm but took a long time to confirm. Another point, I made the payment by card at the reception but forgot to take my bank card out of the machine. The staff did not notice that just finalizing the payment paper, later on, the security guy brought the card to my room but the way knocked on the door and asked investigation questions was too scary.

SingaporeWe were in the West Wing which was old and have seen better days. For the amount we paid, I expected better. I did not opt for breakfast after I saw the review and where I saw it for myself, it was for the better as people had to queue for breakfast! No thank you. The rooms also look dated and tired. Our toilet flush also didn’t work properly. We had to wait a while before the next flush.
Very near to Edgware Road Station and easy to get anywhere in Zone 1. Convenient to get anywhere in London from. The rooms were big enough for a family of 4 and comfortable for our stay. The areas which have been refurbished are nice. The Crab Tree and Evelyn body wash and soap were nice!
