The price of the breakfast was outrageous! £18 for a fairly average breakfast was almost unbelievable, and, to then make matters worse, if you wanted something like avocado on toast it was an additional £6.

The bedroom was spacious and well appointed. The bathroom was a good size. Water pressure excellent. Bath as well as shower over the bath was very welcome, although the bath is quite narrow. The towels were amazing!

Everything bar the room was as expected, the lounge was excellent, staff were impeccable and polite, gym/spa exceeded expectations. Being in room 121, was not the best, i cant comment on the rooms within the hotel but walking through a fire exit into what i can only describe as an annex with a few rooms in was not the best experience. it would not turn me away from visiting again, just hope i get a room within the "complex"

Meals were very expensive, £12 for a prawn and Cray fish cocktail, no Cray fish in it and I counted 15 prawns no cucumber or tomato just lettus The hotel caperts in corridor were worn, and furnishings felt a little tired but sturdy

It was lovely! Only small suggestion would be to consider having a women’s hour (or quiet hour?) in the leisure complex. It was a bit loud and overwhelming at times for a lone female traveler. However, the facilities are excellent as are the staff.

Incredibly helpful staff! There was an issue with my booking not showing on the system, but they fixed it immediately and I was given a really lovely room. Had to extend my stay due to a Ferry cancellation and this too was done with no fuss and at a good rate. Food was excellent too!

No safe in room, no fridge in room, 2 person tables too close in dining room, parts of hotel will need updating in the near future.

Clean, good size room, seating area in room, quiet ( 3rd floor king room) good parking area & free, swimming pool & spa area. Pleasant staff.

Had a constant clicking noise outside my room in corridor. When I phoned reception just past midnight they said “It will be a sensor which couldn’t do anything ” so I asked them to note on my booking. So sadly considering amount I spent on room & in the restraunt, I really did not wake up feeling refreshed. Also apron check out staff member was unaware of complaint. I did ask for manger to call me that day but no one did.

Breakfast was nice however placed at a table set up for 2 but 3 of us which they’d forgotten to set up fr 3rd person, so I did off another table. Spa facilities were Brillant & dinner was a little expensive & added service charge added.

We also had an issue with payment for our meal so would recommend paying at the restaurant rather than upon checkout. Minor issues, but they did take the shine off a wee bit. Pool and Spa busy due to Valentine’s but it was just bad timing.

The food was excellent, room larger than expected and very comfortable. Immaculately clean room, staff very friendly and even though the hotel was busy, we felt looked after within the accommodation. We travelled with our dog and he was made very welcome which is great. Should we be in the area again, we would stay.

Facilities were tired throughout since our last visit - Changing rooms in the spa were poor. Only 2 of 6 showers working properly in the female changing room. No shampoo an conditioner in changing rooms. Carpets in hallways and decoration very tired. Booked a massage and it was not good value for money at all. Sauna wasn't that hot.

The service in the restaurant was quite disjointed. Some areas of the hotel are looking outdated.

Loved that the spa had plenty of loungers. Staff at hotel reception & spa were excellent.
