    A shame about the breakfast!

Breakfast was a major disappointment. The member of staff on duty was too busy chatting to the housekeeper to notice that there was no coffee and no cups, and it was not explained how the ordering system worked. My husband ordered cornflakes, and I wanted yogurt and fruit, but there was no yogurt and no bananas.. We also ordered a full breakfast from the brunch menu - which arrived before the cereal and fruit! We sent it back, and the cereal and half an apple and a few strawberries appeared. The breakfast had suffered a bit from spending the intervening ten minutes under a heat lamp, but it was pretty good. When you are used to a proper breakfast buffet, this attempt to use the brunch menu as a breakfast substitute is unacceptable. Cooking the main part to order is fine, but there should at the very least be a choice of cereal, fruit, yogurt, bread, spreads, pastries and so on, which guests can help themselves to. It seemed you could have cereal or a croissant - not both, though the badly printed notice which was all there was to explain the system was not clear. The breakfast experience spoiled what had been a very pleasant stay - we felt we were not at all welcome, and although the food was good, the service and general setup was dire. A pity, as we enjoy visiting Wisley and would have stayed here again, but will revert to somewhere which does a proper breakfast in future

The room was well appointed and comfortable, with a well designed bathroom and a good bed. We were welcomed in a friendly way, and enjoyed a good value evening meal.

Bedroom lighting a bit dark to work in, minor point as desk lamp helped. Lumpy pillows!

Newly decorated well thought out room and great hot shower.

Breakfast was not so good. I think due to a staff issue.

    Nothing

Only had breakfast at the premises which was very good and very reasonable. Our room was clean, comfortable but a little small. It was also quiet for sleeping.

One of the curtains was damaged and falling down. and the space around the bed felt restrictive. Breakfast was a bit of a disaster. I am fussy about food. Bacon and Sausages were a cross between burnt and creameted. And tasted so. Perhaps having a display sample presentation of the main breakfasts, would allow for easier choices .

Staff were friendly and helpful in general. Bed was very comfortable and lovely selection of warm towels to wrap ones self in after a shower.

No issues really. Everything was as expected.

Very handy location for the train station. We stayed here and drove to Thorpe Park, which is only a 15 minute drive away. And also jumped the train into London to go the Zoo and see a few sights. Ate in the pub one evening, food was great.

The room and adjacent pub are lovely. We were visiting family that live just around the corner so perfectly located for us. We have stayed before and will be staying again in the future. We had room only so unable to comment on the breakfasts.

    Choice of breakfasts.

I wasn't particularly bothered about the breakfast, I would have preferred yoghurt and fruit, not a lot of choice just English breakfast. The scrambled eggs were quite tasteless.

More choice on breakfast buffet table. Shower slightly cool in the morning, but was fine in the evening.

The location was ideal for theatre , shops and pubs, a 5 minute walk. We visited the RHS Wisley which was a 15minutes drive. Cooked breakfast from the menu, It would be nice to have fruit which the pub could not provide. Lovely pub, free parking, and attentive staff.
