To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomThe bed was too hard, shower was hard to use as too close to bottom of bath, asked fir a disabled access room and my partner struggled to get in the bath for a shower, and low water pressure. Also the decor needed updating.
The size of the room, balcony overlooking woodland and it been nice and quiet. The breakfast was nice too.

United KingdomAs above. Just cleaner and cheaper for the service we had. It’s the dearest place we’ve stayed for so little value and care. I appreciate it’s hard times as it is for all of us. We are key workers so getting away is so important.
Our room was very tired and felt like an after thought to the main hotel. There was litter and cigarette butts outside our room. It had and old damp and un aired smell. What it needs isn’t costly just care. I appreciate we had our two small dogs and stay in hotels regularly with them and is wasn’t as good as we are used to especially for what you charged us for them !

United KingdomThe hotel is a good 20 mins in a taxi to Leeds...the hotel is ok . Our room wasn't great..we had to look left to watch the TV in bed....the radiator in the bathroom was cold couldn't dry the towel...we didn't get fresh towels on Saturday...and no clean cups ...or tea bags or suger .. I had to phone reception..at 10 00 pm no body answered..so had to go looking for a member of staff .....to ask for these items... not good really!!!!!
The hotel is a large hotel with plenty of car parking..room ok a bit noisy we could here traffic...

United KingdomThe Brasserie??? Totally characterless! May have well been eating at a table in a work canteen! Food was good but way overpriced considering the above! Breakfast good, but total lack of covid awareness! All the staff wore masks, but hardly any guests were wearing masks, both days of our stay, on the Sunday morning, the breakfast room was seriously overcrowded. We couldn't wait to get out of there! There should have been a limit on the number of people allowed in! Room was OK, but extractor fan not working in bathroom, shower screens and tray needed a good clean, kettle impossible to use on worktop as lead wouldn't reach the plug socket. We had to balance the kettle on a tray on the only chair in the room. This would be a serious safety issue if there was a family in the room! There was a wedding on the Saturday, very loud music until midnight! But to be fair it went silent at midnight.

On the morning we left I forgot my nightdress in the bathroom & when I called the hotel I was told housekeeping had not seen it. I didn’t expect that, I just thought the hotel would keep it for me in their lost & found property section. Very disappointed.
