Really excellent continental breakfast with plenty of choice. Bedroom was clean, comfortable and beautifully furnished. Easy access from the motorway. Friendly hosts and a warm welcome.

Plenty of choice for the Continental breakfast, on the last morning we were offered eggs which was a lovely suprise before our long journey home. John and Ange were very welcoming made us feel at home. The property itself had lots of character and history.

Bedroom a bit tired, loose socket above desk, floor tile in bathroom needing new grout, as I was the only guest that night it appears the heating was not switched on in the morning so cold but was up and about after the continental breakfast so not too much of a problem..

Perhaps if arriving later in the day have something to eat or bring something with you as nearest restaurant is about 5 miles, I believe.

Warm, clean, comfortable beds, quirky details, lovely continental breakfast. Lovely elderly couple who went the extra mile to provide an early breakfast asxee were leaving early in the morning.Just off the motorway. Easy to find. Good for the traveller.

One room was a little cold but there was a heater.

The hotel was easily found just off the M74 in the dark, really well signposted. Plenty of space to park within the grounds. The building is full of character with lots of history and looks recently decorated. The carpets and furnishings all seemed new. All staff were very friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast was plentiful with an excellent selection of items.

WiFi didn't work but we had 4G so never mentioned this to hotel.

Great location 2 minutes off the motorway with ample parking. Beautiful hotel with loads of period features as well as some quirky artifacts and a lovely attentive owner. Pleasant staff and a delicious breakfast.

Was a bit more challenging with the dog. Paid £10 extra to have dog with us and were given a room nearer to the back exit for late/early walkies which was great. However dog not allowed in breakfast room so had to put him in the car which was not ideal given he would be spending much of the day in the car on a long journey. Breakfast buffet was fine but lacked fresh items: tinned peaches, some melon slices and apples available. Did offer cooked eggs and fresh croissant (but only 1)

They were very accommodating with a late booking and stayed up as we were late to wait for us to arrive. The lady who organised the breakfast was a gem of an employee, so kind and friendly. All in all, a lovely short stay.

When I booked it was pet friendly but this changed after booking. Phoned to get confirmation that dogs accepted for a £10 a night fee. However then very limited as to where do could go in hotel

Signs on the building to assist with entry would have been helpful.

The staff were all wonderful. Friendly and helpful. The decor is so interesting with a beautiful dining room. Breakfast was exceptional. Tilly, the dog, is personality plus.
