Bathroom door needed replacing .some areas show signs of wear and tear

Fittings in shower room hanging off paint needs repainting doors need redoing Changing rooms in pool area need updating , pool sides need cleaning restaurant floor stained on carpets and some chairs falling apart

The swimming pool changing room was very dirty and the towels they provide desperately need replacing as very tired and itchy.

Pool was lovely, had it to ourselves for two hours upon our arrival.

It’s looking very shabby now. Plug sockets didn’t work. Cracks In sinks. Curtains not fitting properly.

Staff were lovely very accommodating. Food was fabulous definitely better than I thought it would be.

Looking and feeling very tired. Rooms corridors, main entrance need a refresh. Menu very basic, limited, pricey, No salad ?. So overall poor in comparison to like for like price wise. I chose because of location thinking it would be nice but disappointing. Chilworth manor and other hotels around but far superior in quality.

Lovely setting and would of been lovely 25odd years ago when built.

Sadly we looked at the photographs of the swimming pool with jacuzzi but the jacuzzi is no longer there. It has been removed and is now a concrete block. There was insufficient seating around the pool and I feel steps leading down into the water would be an asset for older people instead of just ladders. I also think judging by the scum around the walls of the pool, the pool cleaner needs to do a better job. Finally I feel some more comfortable sink in chairs would be a benefit in the bar area ,the upright club style ones don't suit everyone.

Excellent breakfast lovely clean surroundings in a quiet and quirky location. We also stayed for an evening meal which was also very good. All the staff are friendly and helpful .Free car parking and wi fi was also a bonus and massive room. lets not forget the price £60 for 2 persons B & B ?? its a no brainer really.

The mattress had completely sunk in the middle of one side and needs to be replaced.

Not a dislike - it would be great to have a hair dryer in the room however not an issue. Photos online showing the pool show a jacuzzi which is no longer there, would be good to show photos on the website. The changing areas were cold especially for a baby so some heating in those would help as a big change getting out a lovely heated pool.

The location is surrounded by beautiful forestry and is lovely and peaceful, sliding doors in the room allowed us to open them in the morning/evening and listen with some fresh air. The room was a great size for our family and having a little living room area was perfect in the evening with a baby asleep. Having a swimming pool and restaurant on site made for ease on the first evening, would be lovely to have a few more options but what we ate was nice. The staff were all friendly and welcoming, greeting us every time they or we went past and very helpful when needed.

Location was good but my room was a little tired and shower didn't work very Well. I didn't fi d the bed co.fortable because it was 2 beds joined together and the join was very uncomfortable - maybe a topper on the bed would help

The rooms were too hot - because the doors led out to a shared balcony / walk way it wasn't very private to have the door open to let air in and also couldn't have the doors open at night. Would have been better to have a window to open. Also would have been nice to have swimming times for the pool e.g. when kids wouldn't be in there.

The breakfast was nice - it was also good that it went on until 10.30am. The hotel surroundings are nice and peaceful.

There could be a coffee machine or tea machine for breakfast so people could have tea or drink as much as they like.

The hotel is in quite place, the room was clean, bed was comfortable, open buffet English breakfast was good.
