There was a lot of dust in our room, behind the TV, on top of the toilet roll holder and on top of the mirror light in the toilet. The water in the shower was not draining properly. The mattress was very hard and needs a replacement. This is a shame because the location of this hotel is excellent.

The restaurant wasn't open at all during my visit. This was a tad annoying as I was looking forward to getting breakfast there.

Was minutes away from the beach and had an amazing view. The room was an ensuite was was very clean and comfy.

Booked a deluxe room sea view room, to find it was standard. The staff did show us a few other rooms that would be available after a clean which were much better. Windows and mirrors were dirty and smudged, no idea with what. Had to request hand soap in the bathroom. Place seems to be run on a budget, but still comfortable and enjoyable trip. Location and parking makes it.

Stairs to bedrooms for some may be more difficult, however we had a fantastic seaview from the top room, the staff carried our bags up

Hotel appears to be being run on a shoestring. I know hospitality is suffering from a staffing crisis at present, but a more visible staff presence would help. There is no bar or restuarant at present, breakfasts are available although we did not have them. From the literature these appeared to be pre-packed, ready to be heated up. Again the staffing problems do not help this.

Excellent room, clean, comfortable& quiet. Wonderful sea view. The hotel is in an excellent location, and with a bit more TLC and expenditure could be a really nice hotel.

Would have like a sea view from the room

In all honesty I thought for the price the room would not be great but to our surprise it was so clean, comfortable ad spacious. We had two rooms linking and two bathrooms which was fab! The hotel itself is dated but faultlessly clean!

Quite Tired and dated, paintwork poorly finished Ill fitting doors. Was only there for two days and most of time at the festival but room not serviced which was ok but meant we didn’t have milk for tea coffee second day.

We would have loved to be able to have evening meals there. We had to trundle around Shanklin Looking for restaurants, which were either fully booked or closed. On our last night we could only get take away fish and chips (which we ate outside the dining room window!)

Property felt a bit tired, beds were too soft, bathroom really still taps and hot water too ages in shower, could hear next door rooms very easily. Door locks didn’t feel safe and only 1 key given
