IndiaThere is no lift in this hotel. You need to carry luggage yourself using staircase. No phone available in room to call reception.
We booked a family room which had sea view🙂. The location is very good. Beach, town centre and Train station are at walking distance. The staff is very friendly & cooperative. It was nice stay for budget price compared to other hotels price.

Comfortable room. Friendly approachable staff who were always willing to help. A good range of options were offered for breakfast, including full English. There is a restaurant for evening meals. Near the beach and Shanklin Chine and shops. Very pretty picturesque location. Unsuite shower and bath in room.

We went to the breakfast area, and couldn't seen any member of staff to ask, how that works, as i didn't paid for our breakfast previewsly. So we sat down to a table when an elderly member of staff came to us and staight away asking for room number. She wasn't too friendly even though I started to explain I am happy to pay, but yes beforehand we should have done. And she said to us to leave the restaurant and sort the issue with reception. She rather seemd fed up or annoyed with us, even I just wasn't sure how the breakfast operating into this place. I felt embarassed how we got treated by her. Luckily later on we had a different server, a young girl, she was really kind, nice and polite.

All staff are very caring and helpful. Breakfast is very good with a good range of options. Near beach, Shanklin Chine, and shops. Very pretty picturesque area.

United KingdomThere was no WiFi We were top floor with no lift and it was so hard getting our luggage up and down. There's no air con and only a small window that opens a little. Not much parking. Fire alarms went off in the middle of the night which was a little scary being on the top floor with a child xx

United KingdomI can't speak for every room, but our room stank of feet and damp. It could've just been the previous guest was a smelly customer, but it put a sour note everytime we returned to the room. Also the shower was nice and warm for 3-4 minutes, and then suddenly spat out scolding hot water for a couple seconds and then freezing cold water and then back to normal. Perhaps someone upstairs flushed a loo and we got unlucky? Honestly these are small inconveniences given that we were paying £100 per night with free breakfast included. Can't complain really!
The location was easy enough to find, there's ample on site parking, and the staff were really friendly and helpful. It's situated a five minute walk from the waterfront tourist area (Shanklin Chine) which you can get to by foot, and for those who don't like steep hills you can take the cliff lift for a £2 return journey. There's lots of food options in the area but make reservations during the peak holiday period, else ways you might not get a table! Also the breakfast at the hotel was brilliant! Super duper tasty, but my wife kept nicking a bite of my hash brown every day which was all together cruel and unnecessary.
