Couldn't fault anything, I would only say that the lifts talk, so 'going up' 'doors opening' etc so I could imagine for rooms near to lift it might be annoying

Location was perfect to attend awards ceremony at the Midland Conference Centre across the road. Staff were friendly and helpful with a great bar and restaurant. The breakfast had a good selection for both hot and continental items. Would definitely stay again.

It was two single beds pushed to make a double. The mattresses kept moving. I was very uncomfy. The light from the air con thing on the wall was quite bright when the lights were off. The staff member was polite when I checked in, but repeated the way I said bye as I walked off.

The room was clean and had what I needed. It was a great location (I was attending a conference at the university).

We could have been directed to our room on the first floor a little better. We went up the stairs and couldn't find the room. We didn't realise we could only get to it by the lift.

The double bed for the double room I'd booked was simply 2 singles ziplinked together - which was quite uncomfortable for me and my partner to sleep on

Everything. The room was lovely, the restaurant was great, staff were polite, friendly and helpful, bed was comfortable, bathroom nice and clean. Breakfast was definitely worth the money, a really lovely choice hot and cold and available for a decent time range. Evening menu was great too, plenty of options. Would definitely love to stay again.

No pot for tea at breakfast, just a teabag and hot water. Orange juice not freshly squeezed. Main course at dinner roast cod, vegetables stone cold. Denzil most apologetic, and offered free glass of wine, which I accepted. Very good response. Lighting in room a bit dim.

As usual, comfortable room, executive, so bath and good aircon. Excellent towels, large and fluffy. Comfortable bed with good quality sheets. Nespresso machine. Blackout curtains. Very helpful and efficient staff, particularly the head waiter, Denzil. Good buffet breakfast with excellent selection, fried eggs replenished rapidly, good black pudding. Spacious carpark. Very convenient, in University campus. Nice bar and lounge.

Parking wasn’t great as there was an event on at the conference centre.

Comfy and clean facilities. Good to have access to university gym. Lovely and varied breakfast selection, access to Starbucks on campus as well.

Shower had no power. A/c was temperamental in our bedroom.

Comfortable, functional, light, clean & spacious. Breakfast was exceptional for the price. Varied and plenty of it. Extra touches like raw honey and artisan bread.
