It’s a great location to explore the lakes / Keswick, with great views from the hotel itself. The property was lovely and cosy , The staff were very accommodating and friendly. We had a drink in the bar area in the evening the. a great breakfast the next morning. The rooms were great, clean and cosy. Would highly recommend anyone to stay and try their home made gin too ;)

Breakfast was amazing. Evening meal, which we ate onsite, was delicious. Brett was so friendly, gave us a warm welcome, explained the hotel fully and was excellent with my two boys. Overall, a real asset to the hotel.

The location is perfect for local walks, from a short ride from Keswick even by bus. The room was very comfortable, clean and nicely decorated. The hotel restaurant is just a delight, the food is absolutely delicious and the breakfast is also top notch. The staff is very friendly and very good in making you feel welcomed and taken care off. I would definitely come back and would definitely recommend it.

From the moment we arrived, the owner made sure that we are well settled with the baby, described the area and was very helpful with suggestions of local attractions. The food was delicious, with plenty of choices, so thankful that they accommodate our vegetarian request. The room was huge and super clean, I'm a housekeeping supervisor and could not notice the high standards of cleanliness of the entire property. The bed was so comfy and the view amazing, we drank our coffee in the morning looking at the sheep and listening to the birds cirping. We really enjoyed our stay there and hope to return in the future.

The location was very good, just outside Keswick. The setting is lovely, food in the evening was amazing!! Along with Pete the host he couldn’t do enough for anyone and was very friendly and chatty. The room was very comfortable with nice little touches such as biscuits etc

How light it was in the room all night.

The property was extremely quaint and somewhere we have passed multiple times over the last 10 years. Not only was the property beautiful and in an amazing setting, but the staff, Pete in particular, were exceptional and went over and above the usual standards of customer service.

Very welcoming staff. Breakfast was excellent and we had our evening meal which was exceptional!!! Plenty of walks from the hotel on hand. Very cosy bedroom with comfortable bed. Could not fault anything !!!

The noisy cutlery drawer being refilled at bedtime, it was right below our room.
