Good hosts, and a busy bar for a Monday night, the food was fine . They are happy with dogs about the place, and indeed the many locals in that evening had their s with them. The breakfast was nice and was freshly prepared, all in all a good experience.

The drain to the shower area in the disabled facilities needed cleaning judging by the spread of the water I think it may have been partially blocked needs attention Minor did not spoil my stay at all and I mention it so that it can be checked before it becomes more serious.

The pub was excellent and I was impressed with th hospitality and atmosphere very good service. Parking was located to the rear and the garden and garden huts were most attractive and practical. Being in the centre of the village added to the interest.

Stayed here during a bike ride on King Alfred’s Way. Had a lovely warm welcome from the Landlady who let us hose the dust off our bikes and store them in our rooms. Rooms are a very good size with all facilities needed. The pub is a really good local with great friendly staff. Food is good pub fare and we had the pie of the day which was the best steak pie I’ve had in a long time. Great breakfast in the morning. Fully recommend the Green Dragon

It was perfect

Location was perfect for a stop over between midlands and Cornwall. Restful village, lovely pub garden, friendly and helpful staff and then close to Stonehenge for a the morning trip. Thoroughly recommend. The pub was a true village pub.

Not keen on a wet room, would prefer a shower cubicle.

We stayed on a stop off whilst cycling the King Alfred’s Way. The staff are used to cyclists and are happy to let guests store bikes in their rooms which is a huge bonus. A fabulous fry up for breakfast too.

The gravel driveway is very noisy if you're trying to enter quietly, so we hope we didn't wake anyone.

Comfortable place to stay with large rooms behind a traditional village pub. Good beer selection. Very nice breakfast. Market Lavington is easy to get to and convenient for events such as imberbus.

Can't fault it.. Only stayed overnight.

The room was clean and quite large. Bed was comfortable. Nice shower and selection of towels. Very good breakfast. Quiet location... Enjoyed a pint or two of 6x.

Stayed for 1night while on a cycling tour. Food in the evening was lovely but skipped breakfast in favour of an early start.

See above but it seems the only breakfast available was a selection from the composite parts or the "full English". Cereals, fruit, yoghurt, bread/toast options with spreads would have been a welcome alternative.

Breakfast was very good, but having been asked for a specific time, and opted for the earliest time offered it was disappointing to have to wait 15minutes or more before it arrived, when the time available was short. Unobtrusive but very effective air conditioning to the bedrooms was a godsend for the very hot weekend we stayed.
