The corridor area carpet was badly stained We were given a ground floor room this time but walkers looked in and cars passed the window so will be sure to ask for a first floor room next time. Bed was very firm.

Very friendly helpful staff. Excellent continental breakfast Coffee bar on site with outdoor seating. Clean room and good shower also clean. Convenient location Free on site parking Relaxed atmosphere

Although it said small room when advertised it didn’t mention that my room Didn’t have a window, only a velux window, for people suffering from anxiety or depression or claustrophobic this could be a problem. Advertising needs to be more clear

Bar only open till 9pm Asked for earl grey tea at breakfast, told only serve breakfast tea at breakfast but they could sell us earl grey. Very disappointing when staying at the lodge & paying for breakfast, at the end of the day we are only asking for a teabag! Radiator/heater rusty on front. Shower screen rusty. No glass in bathroom or sanity bags.

The room felt it was in need of a revamp, being 14 years old was looking it. Bathroom was small an addition of a bath with a rejig of the room would have been great. The addition of cooked meals within the hotel would've been welcome as we had to go elsewhere, which wasn't far at all but an inconvenience none the less.

The location was excellent, the views are as described again excellent. the hotel or lodge itself was reasonably modern, and had a cosy feel to it and felt welcome.

No restaurant or hot meals on site, which means one has to bring their own food from town or travel somewhere else. It isn't a lively place, hardly any people in the cafe or in the garden, very deserted and a little too quiet. The furniture and flooring are a little tired, bed very firm.

Very friendly, polite and helpful staff. Dog friendly. Beautiful location. Clean. Free parking. Close to main road, bus stops and other towns and villages. Basic accommodation at reasonable price.

The staff were very friendly and supportive of anything you needed. The location of the property was great and within 15-30 mins of other great locations by car. Free parking also

Everything was great, but if you wanted a cooked breakfast that was an extra £3pp at the pub down the road. The continental breakfast was great and had everything you would expect.

There were some broken hangers, the soap dispenser did not work.

Affordable accomodation. I liked white bed sheets. The room was clean.

The bed was so uncomfortable, and low. I didn’t sleep well at all. Also, the shower is tiny. I hardly fit in and I am petite.

The location was brilliant. Perfect location to get to everything around Lake District. Beautiful sights infront. The room was also a decent size, and had everything you will need. Staff was very kind too, and helped with anything we needed.

Great location, comfy rooms and a very competitive rate. Rooms were clean and well equipped (kettle, extra pillows, power shower, etc). Staff were very helpful with local knowledge and advice.

The Lodge and the room was modern clean bright and comfortable. Staff were very helpful and welcoming. The Lodge is in a peaceful location surrounded by hills and countryside. Coffee shop on site for drinks cake and continental breakfast or a pay a supplement for a cooked breakfast at the kings head pub a few minutes down the lane. Highly recommend a stay

Great location. Nice big room with great tea and coffee facilities. Breakfast in the on site cafe was excellent. The licensed bar was good too.

the pillows were rather hard and flat, next time I might bring my own, that was the only issue and only a minor one

Perfect , very welcoming, friendly easy going place to stay. Easy to get to and also good location for visiting Keswick and the surrounding area, parking good. I liked the bar cafe area and that it was open till late

The lack of the breakfast included was a negative. I thought being a visitor staying at the hotel that the coffee and food would have been discounted at least

I like the solitude of the hotel. Staff were friendly. Having Netflix available without prior was a nice bonus when resting. Great view from the cafe area.
