Standard double room (4th floor) was a little small and dark. There was also a smell coming through the a/c system that kicks in by default when you leave the room.

Location was excellent. Lovely breakfast. Good general facilities throughout.

I was expecting the room size to be better as we'd paid for a larger room but it still felt quite cramped and dark.

The spa facilities were excellent and the restaurants had a good selection of food to choose from. The location was perfect for getting into town and going out exploring the island

Breakfast was a bit average, i expect for a hotel like this to be serving a top breakfast. Meats were average, selection was ok, but i have been to cheaper hotels that offer more healthy options.

Health suite was top draw. Room was comfy. A/C was FAR too loud though.

Shower in room could be better, water splashed everywhere! A hand rail would have been helpful too.

Bathroom needed a little bit of looking at, the shower hose leaked, the controls of the shower were very temperamental and stiff. There was no extractor working in the bathroom. We did report this while there. The bed was so hard, I asked for an additional topper which was provided, but I had to fit it myself. It was just left on the bed. I think some memory foam toppers should be available for those of us that need a softer bed due to ailments. The front bar and restaurant were really noisy and not a relaxing environment. Only one chair for the table in the room. We also had an adjoining door between us and the next room, which made it feel like next door where actually in our room when they were talking. Don't like the fact you are allowed to smoke on the balcony, if you are sitting out side or have your balcony doors open the smell and smoke come in.

Great location. Breakfast included with a good variety of quality food. Staff were nice. Gave us a room upgrade. Good selection of places to eat and drink within the hotel. The use of the Spa was a lovely addition and well needed after all the walking. Lots of info at reception of what's going on on the Island. Good size room. We had a balcony and it was lovely to use.

The only issue we had was the heat in the room. It was so hot. We had people come in to turn it down then by the time we got back in the evening it was still really hot and not comfortable to sleep in. The corridors were also very hot. It's a hot hotel! But lovely, just wish it could have been cooler throughout the hotel.

Loved the hotel location, spa and pool facilities were brilliant, staff were great.

The shower door in our bathroom leaked

This area of St Helier is very lively on a Friday and Saturday night, so ask for a quiet room on a high floor if you want some sleep. We had a room on the 5th floor at the side in the new building and it was perfect. Breakfast was good but very limited if staying more than 2 nights. A choice of breads and a more varied fruit salad would be nice. The swimming pool is good but we were disappointed in the limited weekend hours.
