Would have preferred to have had breakfast in our room as we had previously especially with having a dog with us,, it would have made life easier for us not having to worry about the dog tripping up staff or being a nuisance to other diners

Room was clean and comfortable and the staff very pleasant and helpful especially the housekeeper Jenny who made us feel like we were meeting an old friend and always had a smile and kind word 😊 Breakfast was more than adequate and enjoyable.

I cannot say that I did not like anything.

My wife an I (and pooch) really enjoyed our one night stay at the Stag Rooms. I definetely think that I will be returning at some point, and we wish we had stayed for more than one night. The rooms are kept clean and the bed was comfy. I could not believe how quiet the room was, considering that they are right next to a main road. It was very convenient to have the Stag bar next to the rooms, so we did not have to travel into town for the evening. They are very accomodating to dogs, and were also welcome in the bar area. There is an additional £10 charge that goes direct to the cleaning staff when dogs are staying, which I can perfectly understand.

It’s not your problem but it is bit of a pain turning right out of your premises. Patience is definitely needed.

The fridge in the room, which we needed to store for insulin for our diabetic dog, wasn't really adequate in temperature, but that isn't really a constructive criticism as you wouldn't have known what we needed a fridge for. Apart from that, we don't really have anything we didn't like.

Good location for us, near to relatives. The food was very good, especially the Sunday Roast. The room was comfortable + the bed. Was nice to have the open area directly outside of the room, particularly as we were there during a spell of very hot weather.

Accomodation room was ok, shower room ok but just requires shower cubicle to be re-silicon sealed due to mildew The pub/restraunt was very good, food was excelent and staff very friendly. The Pet friendly reception was very good as well.

Our room was very clean and comfortable. All the staff we met were very pleasant and friendly. The pub/restaurant was very interesting with lots of motorsport memorabilia and the food was amazing. Breakfast was great too.

Room was nice and clean bed very comfortable ,nice selection of drinks we enjoyed the hot chocolate which was a change from the normal tea and coffee in the room and also at breakfast . We had dinner and that was fantastic. The staff were very helpful and friendly and made you feel welcome. we will definitely stay again .😊😊

Beautiful location, lovely clean, cosy room, comfortable bed, .We liked to contactless entry made things quick and simple, nice hot drink and biscuit selection. The room smelled wonderful ! Great quality toiletries and lovely hot shower. Excellent value for money, a high standard room at a budget hotel price .
