The pillows have been used so much they arent very comfortable anymore, also the wash rooms get flooded so just go in with footwear or bare foot.

I love that the beds are sturdy, the staff are lovely, the check in is quick and you can leave your luggage.

almost all of the toilets/showers were out of order and the ones that were in use were flooding horribly when showering, quite far from everything except for the victoria station

The bathroom, the stairs , a bit to steep. But better than the ones at the other Publove hostel in Paddington.

The room I was staying in got unbelievably hot during the night (granted it might’ve been because someone turned off the fan, saying it was too loud), and the beds were both very warm and not very comfortable. The washrooms were dumb. About half of them were not functioning during my stay, so we had 3 or 4 washrooms to share. Additionally, the showers did not drain properly, so the floors were constantly wet (you could call them flooded), which made using the toilets quite irritating.

Nice location, relatively close to public transport. Having lockers in the room was nice. The personnel were nice and helpful as well - especially on the day I arrived, when I got in quite late.

In some of the rooms I slept 😴, evene at night time, although turning off the lights, one central light remained on . Keeping the room still " quite bright" . And I can't sleep properly unless it's a totally darkened room. Then, something was wrong in the bathrooms and showers. They should have put more than one hole only on the floor to drain the water, whilst showering. Because it was flooding all-around.

Essentially the Location: Victoria Station. Super Central, although very expensive area. But indeed very cool 😎! The pub, even if a bit secluded is cozy and friendly. Nice staff. And some of the guests I met, bearable! Overall, OK as a Publove!

It wasn't a personal light only 1 for a whole room. We have to use it to find some things and disturbed other people. Many spare air in the room but only 1 chair. 3 level bed is impossible to sit in the middle row. No washing place was at the room at all as it was other hostels. Toilet full of water on the floor from the shower.

The bathrooms were very small and looked like they needed some care and attention, sometimes the bathrooms could be a little dirty and there is no where to put your clothes in some bathrooms whist you have a shower . Having to pay for towels from reception. The bunk beds are a little low and can be an issue for a tall person

I liked the warm welcome I had. It’s got a pub downstairs which gives it a nice atmosphere.

The pillow was quite lumpy.

I had a good stay at The White Ferry. It's in a great position, within easy reach of Victoria coach and train stations, and a few minutes' walk to Sloane Square Tube station too. The dormitory I stayed in had 9 bunk beds and I was lucky as people were quiet, so I didn't get disturbed. The shared bathroom has individual, lockable cubicles, which felt nice and secure (although I did wait ages outside the bathroom on my floor, thinking that someone was using it, before I realised it wasn't in use!). I could leave my luggage in a secure room during the day and I hired a towel from the reception in the bar. Tip: take a padlock for the locker, or rent one from the bar. The best thing was how nice and helpful the staff were. They were all so friendly and pleasant - a real credit to the place.

The hostel could seriously provide better lightings, the hallway to rooms 5 and 6 (where the female dorm is) was totally without a light at all. Even inside the dorm room it was dark, with only one light bulb for the entire space. There are not enough wash rooms for all, only the washrooms at the first floor are functional. The wash room nearest to Room 6 is "working, only the light is not". And it seems nobody is working on the repair also. It was such a drama to get a wash room during the morning 'peak hours'. A suggestion: to fix some hooks at the top bunk bed, then at least there are enough space for hanging up jackets for all in the room. At the moment there are only 6 hooks in a dorm room with 9 beds.

Perfect location for staying in the centre of the city. Friendly check in staff and cleaning staff

Not having any kind of common spaces (such as a living room or just even some tables) The lack of a small shelf or just a hanger on the structure of the bed to organize things as chargers, powerbank, a bottle of water… The very little ventilation of the room due to the block on the windows The lack of curtains for privacy on beds

Having the bus stop just out of the hostel’s door was very convenient especially as a girl travelling alone. The room was spacious and very clean (cleaned daily).

There werent many bathroom/shower facilities so people were often waiting in the corridors for their turn.

Location was great to get to the Bus terminal. I used the pub as a working from home setup while I travelled and the staff were all very accomodating. Nice pubby English feel if that is what you're after.

The floors in the bathrooms are very flat so they don’t drain quickly. It would be great if they had squeegees in every bathroom. The upstairs was very hot but it’s summer, the windows were open At night and there was a fan in the room.

The Hostel was cute with a convenient restaurant and bar downstairs. Ben the night bartender was awesome and super helpful. He was always up for a chat about travel and history. The neighborhood is safe and a convenient walk from Victoria Station.
