The breakfast service was overwhelmed, this was disappointing for many people. The staff tried their hardest and were very good but this service needs to be organised better. It was an amateur process

Room facilities were great. Very spacious, clean and well maintained. Staff were excellent Cocktails very good indeed

    Nothing to comment on.

Lovely location, very friendly staff. The room we had was pretty small, but it was dog friendly and we were there for a one night stop over, so it was fine for us.

The walls of the hotel are exceptionally thin, and unfortunately, soundproofing seems to be lacking. Despite being on the second floor, we could hear everything from the room next door and even from the room above us. The noise level was particularly disruptive; every footstep was audible, making it difficult to sleep even with earplugs.

This charming hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of Folkestone harbour, making it an ideal choice for those seeking seaside adventures. The hotel is pet-friendly, with an additional supplement of £20 for furry companions. While guests can enjoy the welcoming atmosphere of the hotel's bar downstairs, it's unfortunate that dogs are not permitted in that area

From the picture in the advert, I was expecting a 4 posted bed. It would have been the perfect surprise for my wife's birthday. Parking is a bit of a faff, but that's just not picking.

We didn't have the breakfast. The location of the hotel is well placed, in the quiet area of Folkstone. The room we were given had a view of the sea, and exceeded my expectations in every way. We didn't use the room service, however it was good to have the option. The Jacuzzi was a lovely touch.

The furniture is old, not very clean. The water pressure in the bath was weak. The sink is very low and inconvenient. We were living on the ground floor and it was quite noisy due to the road. It was stated that there is a breakfast, but instead there were just some products in the fridge like butter, yogurt, milk, ham, cheese (was spoiled), grape, buns and some cornflakes. Main reason we like to have breakfast included is to save time for excursions and walks around the city, as being a family with two kids with different tastes takes time. Some source pans I wanted to use were not clean enough.

Near the center and 15 min walk to Dover Castle Clare was answering quickly enough.

Noisy room one night - but offered another room to use which would have been quieter. Buffet Breakfast was good - but not the menu on the hotel website - had been looking forward to scrambled eggs with smoked salmon - maybe next time!

Very friendly and attentive staff, comfortable, stylish & clean room - albeit a little noisy one night with a Wedding on below - only to be expected I guess, but managed with forethought and politeness by all concerned - impressive Customer Service! Hosted a private Buffet Lunch in the Premier Room - service very attentive, excellent food (and generous amount) - had a wonderful day ...... highly recommend them!

The hotel is a typical large seaside establishment and the general facilities are tired and ready for an overall. Ok for a short stay.

We only stayed the 1 night and chose this location for the Euro Tunnel. To be fair it is an ideal location for the tunnel which is 3 to 4 miles away and easy to locate. The town is a 30 to 40 minute walk away with a good choice of pubs and restaurants. The rooms are slightly on the small side and clean, but adequate for a quick stop over.

In advance of my stay I had enquired if there was anywhere in the hotel to eat and have a drink with our dog. I was told we would be able to eat in the Lounge and could book a table on arrival. However when we arrived there was actually a wedding in the Lounge and so we were given the option of room service with the fee waived or a suggestion of somewhere to eat that was a 20 minute walk away. We opted to go to the place 20 mins away and it was good. However if I had been advised in advance that the Lounge would be unavailable I would have researched and booked another venue. Parking at the hotel is limited. There are Ev chargers but cars not charging just parked in these bays and there was no regulation of this.

Clean, in a great location and dog friendly
