Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Check out was ok, I was early but receptionist took a little time to come through from the back office as the team were talking, not a hand over so not the best.
Check in was great, Sam was a credit to the hotel and industry, I had room service for dinner as I had work to finish, food was hot and value for money, only small oversight was my side was missing but was rectified with profession and at speed. Breakfast was funtional, staff great food average, bacon was not quite cooked and was a little fatty in taste, everything else was fine.

The hotel was rather dated, luxury of 20 or 30 years ago. Staff were a bit thin on the ground - service in the restaurant on the first night appeared to be slow. No Spa, pool or Gym.
Hotel was luxurious and generally quiet. Good location and meals were reasonably priced. A change in our circumstances was catered for without fuss. Check in was welcoming and efficient. Free parking, if a little fiddly due to APNR was appreciated.

The hotel grounds are nice. The bedroom was spacious. Several buses stop outside the hotel perimeter wall that service Leeds city center especially the No.1, 6 and 8.

I have stayed here 3 times and some rooms are better than others but in saying that the venue as a whole and it's location is excellent.
The location is excellent close to the centre of Leeds a short bus ride, close to Adel, Yorkgate perennial garden definitely worth a visit. You feel like you are in a secluded location but great amenities close by.

The furnishings were maybe a little tired.
I liked the character of the building and it had spacious grounds and plenty of parking. I didn’t eat there as I was seeing family.

Our room was close to the main road and maintenance lorries which was noisy. The rooms were quite hit too.

Room clean but cold. Bathroom was hot but no heating in the room Had to ask for towels 3 times. Wanted to Get room service at 11.30 at night. No one picked up.
Friendly man/ they checked me in. Lovely woman greeted us for breakfast. She realised we had a dog so fussed us and the dog! Good parking. Good breakfast.

Lady receptionist on arrival was monosyllabic, she did her job well enough but didn't make me feel welcome. All other staff delightful. Drinks tray in room was just adequate, a couple more milks and teabags would have been welcome.

We went into the restaurant in the evening, we thought we would treat ourselves to a nice meal on site, but it was very over priced and the portion size would not have filled a small child. So i would not be recommending the restaurant at all. Our room seemed to be only equipped for one person staying although it was a double room, ice one biscuit, two t.bags and two milk portions, so the complementary tray was very poorly stocked. And there was only one bath towel and one hand towel in the bathroom instead of two of each.
The breakfast was excellent, the bed was very comfortable and there was ample parking.Thw room was a good size and warm.
