Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Czech RepublicThe free wifi was really slow in our room. One day there was a lot of noise from the room next door and the hall during afternoon and late evening by other guests.
The hotel is located not far from the city center (15-20 minute walk) and metro station is about 5 minutes away. Staff was really friendly and none of our requests was a problem for anyone. We received a free welcome drink and the bartender gave us really good tips for places to visit. The room was really nice and there was no noise from the traffic. Excellent breakfast every day. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitively come back!

GreeceI would say small rooms and average breakfast. What I did not like at all is the fact they do not have remote to arrange the temp. They have central heating/cooling which means if you want to change the setting you have to get up the bed (middle of the night ...) and walk to the entrance door where is located. By that time sleep is gone. That is the reason I will not come back.
The location is good and the stuff ready to help. There are good restaurants and museums such as National Pinakothiki, Cycladic artifacts nearby and the heart of Athens just a 15 min pleasant walk. The Metro station just 5 min walk.

FinlandNothing to complain.
Quite a typical breakfast with sufficient selection but no specific high-lights. Location was good for my purpose (near the conference center) Room and bathroom a bit worn-out but clean. Free minibar with some non-alcoholic beer and soft drinks. Air conditioning OK (daily +35C outside)

Great hospitality. Very accessible due to the Metro station just 10 minutes away. Value for money. The free access to drinks in the mini bar was a bonus that added to the feeling of great hospitality.

A group of exceptional, hospitable and very friendly staff members. We were welcomed by George who made sure we enjoyed the free parking spot that had been requested. He also informed us about the complimentary drinks in the room's mini bar. We were pleasantly surprised by the room which was spotless and very comfortable. After the great breakfast we were informed by Nick who was also very friendly that the hotel also offers a free drink! Unbelievable generosity for such a priceless location. Evgenia, at the bar let us know which restaurants were near by and worth visiting. Amazing! We were very impressed. A fabulous stay!

FranceThe general refurbishment is a bit oldies and the sound proof of the door is poor. Otherwise the street noise is well isolated so as the early sunlight due to the dense curtain.
In general it is a very cozy and comfortable hotel, the staff is just excellent! The Greek mentality of kindness and politeness was on the top in this hotel. The price out of the high season is very low. Location is very good if you want to stay outside of the party zone, but still within an acceptable distance. Actually the bar around the corner gives very nice atmosphere of those love the 90's music with a drink and kind service. We ended up here 3 nights out of 5.. :)
