Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

LuxembourgThe rooms as a standard don't have fridges. One has to ask for it. That is very useful to have, especially if one buys some fruit and drinks to have after having been around outside, especially if the weather has been hot.
The breakfast was nothing special but ok. One got what one needed to start the day. It was nice to sit there having coffee in the morning peacefully.

NetherlandsThe shower cabine are too small. The airconditioning does not work well. The location is to far from the centre of Kos Town. You will need a bicycle or scooter. Breakfast was very basic so book this hotel without breakfast. The hotel is a party hotel for adults who are in there Fifty’s year old. They organize a lot of events.
I liked the swimming pool area. The hotel staff are very friendly.

United KingdomPoseidon hotel in Kos is a perfect stay. The hotel staff were very welcoming and acted like they were on holiday themself - every night was party night. The family running the hotel are doing an excellent job and if I'm ever back in Kos, I'll rebook Highly recommend the Greek Party nights in the hotel. Happy hour's jungle juice was a highlight also

GermanyVery old room and very badly built, the door to the bathroom cannot open fully so you have to squeeze in, there is space at the bottom of the main door which let's a lot of the light from the corridor in (it's on all night long), 70% of the gym equipment is broken, the orange juice for breakfast is just water and sugar with some flavouring
The people working there were nice, within walking distance from the center

United Kingdombreakfast was limited to soft watermelon chunks, square processed meats and cheese, stale bread, weak syrup based orange juice and a coffee machine. there was a singular toaster with two slots which basically just about managed to make your bread warm. no fly or mosquito deterrents or zappers so there was constantly flies landing on the basket of bread which was literally just covered by two pieces of kitchen roll. pool was tiny and awkward. ended up walking to pedris family resort just down the road to use their pool. the bathrooms in the hotel room were nothing short of awful. the door didn’t fully open and hit the sink when you tried. the shower was just about big enough to stand in for a lanky lad but if you were a bigger person i imagine it would have been extremely uncomfortable. it wasn’t uncommon to have water issues and on multiple occasions the shower actually just stopped running and we had to be given a curtesy room for a wash. the tv in the room was bad quality and had about 10 channels where two were watchable for an english speaking person. one of the two was literally just a powerpoint of the hotels notices and to allow you to “meet the staff” beds were extremely low to the ground and absolutely back breaking. in the photos it also shows two pillows per bed but there was actually just one very thin pillow. the light above our mirror in the room was falling off and when switched on genuinely sounded like a fridge running. from about 8-9 in the morning all you could hear was furniture moving. me and my partner don’t know what it was but it actually became quite funny by the end of the holiday mimicking the noises. we had a really bad experience checking into the hotel where we were apparently given an “upgrade” without letting us know where basically they had moved us from an actual hotel room into an apartment room which was nothing but awful.
a select couple of staff that were helpful and kind and made the experience bearable air con was decent

NorwayIt is seems like a very old hotel and it really needs to be renovated. Taking shower wasn’t even possible, you physically have no space, and the shower curtain sticks to you so you just keep it all open. Bathroom itself is very poorly planned, you can’t close/open the door without stepping above the toilet. Also it didn’t smell good in the bathroom even after cleaning, this dull cloak smell was persistent. No fridge- very inconvenient during the hot season in Kos. If you stay on the first floor is in the hotel, it is very loud and noisy. it doesn’t even feel like there is a door, more like people are inside your room. You can hear the rooms next too, people going to the toilet and everything happening in the lobby- veeeery noisy.
The location is really nice, close to the town beach, restaurants, super markets and bike rents. The stuff is very friendly. The lovely kind old man greeted me at 5am and gave me water, however I wasn’t able to check in until 11am (although the checking is 12, I had hoped there would be smth available), the same kind man was checking me out at 2am. Him I am very grateful to :) Loved a good restaurant accross the street, Aliada :)

United KingdomNothing, it felt like home and was perfect, staff were welcoming and everything was so fresh and clean. Loved it.
Couldn't have asked for more welcoming polite staff and cleaner facilities. The food was reasonably priced at a good standard, the bar was cheap and affordable. The general vibe was just great if I'm honest. Having had a terrible experience with another hotel and checking out after 1 night - this hotel saved our holiday. Genuinely worth every single penny.

SwitzerlandThe bathroom in the room was ridiculous. There is no place to use the shower if you are an adult person. Also, the WC is installed 3 cm from the shower stall, making it impossible to sit in it comfortably. Moreover, the wifi doesn’t work most of the times. Unbelievably how this is still a thing in 2021. Finally, the cleaning could be improved a lot.
Location is ok
