as we arrived at the resort at the parking and near the restaurant it smells like failed eggs the smell was so horrible. I think there they did the deposit of the garbage or the Toilett. From the arriving area where the parking was till the hotel that smell was so disgusting I never smelt a smell like that in Holiday. The resort should please do something about it or make another deposit not near the resort. And the swimming pool was never cleaned. I was 4 days there and the swimming pool was with sand and a little not cleaned green. And no one used it bc it wasn't cleaned and it was cold. I have been also I Albania and there was the swimming pool so clean and fresh everyone was there till the end hours that was a good experience where the children and adults were swimming and playing. And there weren't so many restaurants I wanted for example in mid night to order a pizza but u were limited the opening hours of the one restaurant were closed and also didn't have pizza. We had just one small Store.

i liked the beach water but at the beach where the sand was there were deadly birds lying around the feathers of the birds and no one cleaned them. The Staff were so friendly.

Very small room, there was dust on some of the furniture, including the cupboard where the glasses were. The air conditioning was very loud, the hair dryer was quite weak.

The food was good - tasty and variable. The beach was nice. People, working there, were nice and kind.

The mattres was very old and uneven, we did not slept well. We did notify this to the receptionist on our checkout. All furniture was old and the rooms had this old wooden unpleasant smell, and we did not want to unpack because we were sure the clothes will also be smelly,so we had to keep them around the room and on the opened shelves of the wardrobe. Event hough there was variety of food choices, some seemed like old (from the previous day, or prepared very early), and there was no detailed description, or not at all on some of the dishes, so I would say it was lower than 5* standard for the food. The salt shaker was also not clean and was stuck, we unscrew it just so that we can clean it, and it was a terrible thing to see, it was rusty and this should not be find at any restaurant, and sure not in a 5* resort. The cleaners were polite and passed by every day but there was still a lot of dust under the bed and aroud the corners of the other furniture, we assume they are understaffed and they only had time to pick up the garbage chage the towels and the sheets. The sunbeds had additional charge of 10eur (5eur per person) and you could get yourself a drink, so it is almost no cost but still, this is a private beach so it should not have additional costs especially if they had not put it in their description.

The location and the outdoor area are perfect for family quite holiday. There were every day morning activities like yoga, stretching, aerobic and hiking, if you enjoy such things. There was a kid's club with every day activities and every night there was a disco night for them. The food choices were OK, not on 5* level, but it had viriety where you could choose from. The room was spacious, and it had a terrace where you could enjoy some morning coffee. There are 2 outdoor pools and one indoor pool, they looked clean. There was pool table, ping-pong table and some other games you could play.

The way they deal with the beach chairs, as most guests were leaving their towels over night to book their chairs at the beach. I was waking up early mornings to try and get chairs but I was always getting chairs at the back, until someone got very annoyed and collected all the towels in the evening and put them in piles, it was like a wake up call to the guests who were leaving the towels overnight, but it wasn’t done very professionally. Then it’s says private beach, but they still take €10 for the chairs and obviously you can use those at the bar for couple of drinks. This type of service you can get at other beaches not on a private hotel beach. No kids section at the buffet in the restaurant. Room was nice, but some old stuff, like the curtain rail, which when I open the garden door was catching the curtain rail, and the rail fell nearly hit my daughter in head, so every day I was very careful when opening the garden door, and asking my daughter no to do it.

The location was great, food was good, although no kids section at the buffet. Helpful staff, as they managed to cancelled my second room, as my parents couldn’t come and I received full refund for it, thank you. The beach is nice and the water clean and warm. The lady in the shop was so lovely.

The hotel needs renovation as some of the facilities are old. Coffee is very bad at the breakfast. There is no fun activities and animation at the resort, except for kid's disco. You have to pay 10 EUR for a set of umbrella and sunbeds. If you want to get a beach towel, you have to pay 10 EUR deposit and you get it back at the end of your stay.

Overall, we had a good stay at Simantro. Our room was equipped as per our special request and even though it was not luxurious, it was comfortable. There was a big variety of food. Beach was clean and staff were friendly. Garden was well maintained.

Old rooms, without restauration. Smell inside the rooms was like an old hotel, the wooden doors and windows were lossen and at each opening and closing the glass was shaking producing a loud noise. The walls were very thin, you can easily hear the noise from the other rooms. I would rate this hotel as a max. 3 stars hotel.

The beach and water was spectacular. The only positive thing that I can say from this trip.

The staff in the taverna was impolite, the waiters were always in a bad mood , most of the people waited more than 20 minutes for their order to be taken. There was everywhere dust in our room when we checked in , I had to clean up myself, there was also a garbage under one of the pillows, may be as a welcome gift… For our stay the sheets weren’t changed, not even once, the towels were chanced the third day after I called twice the reception. The cleaning every day was after 14:00 when everyone was resting. Every day the beach was overcrowded and all the people were putting there towels on the sun-beds early in the morning to save places, so if you are not smart enough, you don’t get to go to the beach…

The only good thing was the beach bar staff, always smiling and friendly, and the shuttle driver…

The staff was not welcoming right from the start and had lack of experience and training. We got the rooms keys with no explanation of the hotel and facilities available. Food was terrible and for the price we paid we had much better, fresh and tasty food outside the hotel in local restaurants. The hotel rooms are clean and modern but the reception staff can get more training in guests realtions.

This is former 5 star hotel, all the amenities are in bad shape, including room itself, bathroom, pool the whole territory of the hotel definitely needs to be taken care of. room service provided every other day. No beach towels despite having a beach front attached to the hotel (you have to rent them at the beach at an extra costs). Pool was in bad shape as well, not properly cleaned. We booked room for 3 people, however there was no extra bed in the room, more of a couch which was not sufficient for a grown adult (too short, too narrow) and had no mattress just a thin lining.

Location on the beachfront. Variety on breakfast. The room had a small patio where you could have a snack. Private parking on site. Wifi was okay. There is a store in the hotel.

Elegent room was dark but semi modern. Room smelt of Mould with mould on roof and walls . Air Conditioner UNIT BLACK! room needs a deep clean Some staff at reception have bad attitude. A lot of young staff with no customer service experience or confidence, Shop on site very limited on choice no food apart from crisps ,chocolate and drinks. Very Remote area. Only 1 plug socket in whole room. Room Terraces all connected so very noisy. people smoking on next door terrace so comes in to room. Noise coming from next room you can ever hear tv. Was refused to borrow an Iron and reception ( never had a hotel say they cant provide especially one that says they are 5*) Sun beds around pool and beach are cheap and not comfortable. Que at bars very long, one person serving a lot of times. WIFI not great. Be careful on room allocation as walked round the whole grounds a nd some rooms looked terrible, dark and rundown A lot a cars parked around pool area and on pavements and even ground floor room terraces. Was half Board. Breakfast great choice but only one person cooking at egg station so many people waiting. Buffett dinner was 5/10 . Poor quality and limited. Was not given information about in room safe no info in rooms.

Bed Was comfortable. Shower was good pressure. Kettle in Room . Staff in small shop are very Friendly. Staff in main Buffett Restaurant staff very friendly and quick at getting drink orders. Garden and beach "nice" but needs a bit of looking after. On arrival at 1.30pm check-in girl was pleasant and I was allocated room 2020 on arrival but told to come back for key at 3pm (Despite room cleaned and empty) Clean Towels daily.
