Wonderful location and comfortable rooms. Alexandra and Markela were just the best hosts. The bathroom is lush, with beautiful fluffy towels and a big walk in shower.

The breakfast was wonderful. Alexandra was an amazing host and the room was incredible with a mind blowing view. The island itself is delightful, and less touristy than some of its neighbours.

We could not have been better looked after by Alexandra and Markella. After a swim from the delightful beach by the port, a highlight was sitting on their terrace in the evening overlooking Iraklia and enjoying a drink. Everything was peaceful. We'll be back, no doubt.

I could not have chosen a better place to stay on my first visit to Iraklia. Alexandra met me at the port and took me straight to my room which was tastefully decorated in shades of white and had a nice balcony at the back of the property, overlooking the field and property further up the hill. I immediately felt at home with a coffee sitting on one of their two comfortable settees overlooking wonderful greenery, the village, and the port. It was mesmerising watching yellow butterflies fluttering amongst the trees and the vines. In the evenings I could sit on a raised patio and watch the sunset over Paros with a very nice glass of gin & tonic and some delicious herbed peanuts. All the staff here are delightful, and I must particularly mention Marchella (please forgive the spelling) who became my Greek teacher for the week and put up with my dreadful pronunciation always with a smile and helpful correction! There was also terrific advice available from Alexandra and Marchella about walks, beaches, and restaurants. It does involve a walk uphill from the village so is less suitable for anyone who might struggle with walking, but I could not recommend anywhere more highly. Thank you for a truly magical stay on your beautiful island!

We stayed at Speires on our honeymoon. It is in the port village of Agios Georgios on Iraklia but just above the centre, so it has a lovely view and is beautifully quiet. It is a short walk over the hill to the lovely Livadi beach. Speires offers a free transfer up from the port. We enjoyed the hearty complimentary breakfast on the terrace (the staff were very accommodating of my dietary requirements) and had a lovely drink at Speires’ wine bar one evening. Our room was spacious and spotlessly clean, with a particularly nice bathroom. Alexandra was incredibly welcoming, too. We loved it and would highly recommend Speires and Iraklia

Gorgeous room with terrace, hammock and view. Clean, with a beautiful bathroom. Lovely breakfast cooked to order, and I loved the lemon juice! Alexandra and her team are lovely.

Alexandra and her team are lovely and helpful with every question and recommendations for dinner etc. sunsets from the terrace with amazing view, breakfast and service were the best in Greece, no buffet and a la carte, lovely decoration and beautiful rooms on this little island, we will definitely come again.

All the staff were so friendly and welcoming - they really made my stay a joy! The room was absolutely beautiful, as was the location. I would definitely stay here again!
