- ”Romantic spa resort” could be changed to a more suitable name, it’s nothing romantic about this spartan hotel. It’s okay to be spartan, but don’t name the hotel for something it isn’t. - When we arrived the manager didnt know that we were coming that day which gave us a first impression of unprofessionality. -The manager, Kosmas/Kosmos, were nice at first and offered us a ride to the city several times. Thats nice! But, in one of the car rides he suddenly decides to ask us if we are single, even if he was just curious, it made us two nineteen year old girls very uncomfortable. Another day he invited us to a” wine-night” in the reception which we think is highly inappropriate to ask two nineteen year old girls. Its a hotel not a bar! Some critism that not refer to the staff behavior: - The shower curtain doesn’t even touches the floor which isn’t rocket science that the floor is going to be filled with water. Also, the shower curtain was so close the toilet that we had to sit and hold it away while sitting on the toilet if it was wet AND have our feets on a waterfilled floor.

We had the jacuzzi suite which was great. However, it had only see through glasses around. And it was outside next to the front entrance of the hotel which gave no privacy. Maybe have a tinted glasses would have been better for privacy, Beside that everything was fine.

I loved the decorations of the room, Very uncommon compare to other hotels in that location. Bed was built in a very unique way.

beds were extremely uncomfortable and shower was terrible as attached to the toilet and whole bathroom ends up getting flooded! also bathroom smelled of sewage. pool was dirty and furniture outside was falling apart

there is on cleaning for the room for both day. poor hygiene. beside is a donkey stable. it so smelly.

But on the day we arrived the owner told us that they are cleaning every day the rooms unless we tell them not to. This didn't happen because when we returned home the second day of our stay the room was not cleaned, at all. Another con was that we did not have one single chair inside the room. Also there were mosquitos and we haven't been informed about that but this was the least concerning thing. Overall they were not punctual and professional enough. Would not recommend

The room was clean the first day we arrived and after the second day of our stay because they cleaned it again. Also, it was a value for money stay (93 euros for 3 days). Finally, they informed us about what we can do on the island which was really helpful.

Location far from the center, for me it was a disappointment, there is leg for so much climb Shower water: cold... I waited for it to warm up to start the bath and then it cooled down I finished washing my hair in cold water…Very bad

Maybe more accessories (e.g. cabinets) would be nice to make the place more comfortable, but its not a big thing.

The place was clean, far enough from the centre to be calm and silent but still everything was in walking distance (supermarket, bus station, car rental, touristy places). The hot tub and the pool area are perfect if you want to be lazy a little bit.

There is nothing romantic about it. Be careful to book double rooms, specify double bed at the hotel or they will let you find single beds, as they did with us. But when we reacted about the single beds and asked for double bed the receptionist became very racist towards us saying * you indian are always problematic and later she started talking in her language alone and giving us eyes* that us very offensive and insulting. Later she called her son who’s the manager and he told her to give us a double bed. The bathrooms are very small and I also found the door that did not close. There is no bar or petrol station for breakfast and the nearest market is not within walking distance for shopping. As the crow flies it is close to the center but without a motorbike or car you are doomed because everything is uphill and the road is dangerous. It doesn’t take 10mins to go there but 20/25mins by walk and it’s like hiking a mountain 😂 The view includes the distant sea and obviously the sunset is on the other side of the island.

The bed was comfortable and that’s the only thing.

The room had an excellent ocean and city view as requested. For the money spent I wouldn't go anywhere else. The property and room was well maintained. The staff was super friendly and informative. The lady at the front desk is great and let's you know what hot spots and must sees to go to with exact directions!!! Would visit this place again no problem.

Mattresses need replacing. Close to road so can be a little noisy.

Location OK, 25 min walk uphill to the centre. Balcony was small but meant we were about to sit outside. Was OK for the price paid.

Don't let the name fool you: this hotel is neither "romantic" or a "spa resort". Why call yourselves a spa resort when the lone hot tub is 10 euros per person? What's more, this hotel has endless rules. There's a very prominent sign informing of a 10 euro charge per dirty towel (?) and a long page of rules that will incur an extra charge if broken. Absolutely ridiculous- felt more like a dormitory than a "romantic spa resort". The host also gave us incorrect information about the local buses, telling us that there would be no local bus from the port to Fira. Yet, when we arrived at the port, the buses were still running, but we had already booked a hotel transfer through the hotel because of the message from the host (the only reason we asked the host was because the bus websites were not updated). Beyond that, the host was very unhelpful when responding to questions about the local area, the bus services, etc. Then, when we arrived, we were racially profiled by the reception lady who assumed us to be Chinese or Korean as we walked into the reception area. Later, we had washed a couple of socks and left them to dry outside. The lady came into our room and accused us of using all of the hot water for laundry when, in fact, we had used cold water for barely a minute to wash them. Apparently, it's the guest's fault when the hotel runs out of hot water. The bathrooms also smelled of disgusting sewage despite running the fan and emptying out the trash can. Finally, the hotel is barely in Fira, and it's quite a long and dangerous walk to the town, especially after dark.

The rooms were updated, and the beds were comfortable.

Loved it all.

We liked that the property was on the eastern edge of the town of Fira but pretty much centered north & south. A short walk and you could be anywhere in Fira. We rented a 4 wheeler and were all over the island in minutes. The property is quiet, owned & operated by a great family. They were closed for 7 months and we stayed there after they reopened from COVID-19. They keep the property very clean & well maintained. A great place!!

The room was not at all clean. It gave us the impression that they didn’t Even change the bed sheets.. the towels weren’t clean white, the bathroom was small and the shower was barely working. The closet was old and dirty, all the furnituri looked 100 years old. And there was an invasion of ants in our room… i recommend to pay some extra Cash to go to a better place. The walk to Fira is abrupt, hard to do that with luggage.

Firstly...the family who runs the place is simply amazing! Friendly, helpfull...make you feel like if you are at home with your family!The Place is near the city but super quiet, rooms are super clean and comfortable! Loved the pool!! TOP place!! Loved everything!

It’s a bit away from the main town area (15-20min walk) We had a vehicle on rent and would highly advise should you stay here.

The bathroom was a little bit small but there were a lot of things which made up for it.

The location is perfect if you are renting ATV or car. There is a big parking lot, easy to park, Oia can be reached easily and not so far there is a beach as well (outside of Fira). The hotel has a great and quiet a big salted water pool with sunbeds. The staff is amazing, everyone is helpful and friendly. The view from the balcony is beautiful. Ac works perfectly!
