Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The breakfast was not bad at all but there is some room for improvement there. There was tea and coffee in the room, too, but the coffee was a pre-mixed 3in1 type, which is not for everyone if they don't want sugar in their coffee.
Central location, close to several public transport options. The hotel was nice, modern, spacious, and clean in all areas.

Alarm (probably smoke or other) going off at 7.15 in the morning. Bacon missing at breakfast. With open windows, calls and conversations in nearby rooms was audible. Not well marked stairs to enable walk from 1st floor.
Helpful personnel. Asked to fill up the empty soap dispenser, got fixed in 10 minutes. Variety of choice for breakfast although we were missing the crispy bacon. The room was clean, had enough towels, a mini fridge. Walking distance to train station, plaza, public city transportation.

The beds were comfortable, but a bit noisy. One very minor last thing... We left some little chocolate bars in the room in the morning and when we came back in the evening, for one of them we found only the packaging without the chocolate xD
The room was really nice. We really appreciated the breakfast and the people of the staff (especially the ones at the reception who were very friendly and helped a lot in solving all our doubts).

At midnight could heard some noice, like screams from neighbouring rooms, but could not find the room from where the screams were.

The standard double room is very comfortable for one person, but if there were two of us we would have chosen a higher category room. The lights are very bright, a softer mood light is preferred in the evenings. The central location is great, but there are few good restaurants in the immediate area.
The room was very clean and comfortable, with pleasant music playing in the hallway. The hotel is centrally located and a bit busy, but you couldn't hear any of the city noise in the room. The breakfast area looks good and the selection is excellent.

There was a construction work in the street so room was bit noisy and waste collection began also early, right after 7 am.
A hotel is very well located, Nyugati palyaudvar (Western railway station), The House of the Parliament, Westend City Center shopping mall are all in a reasonable walking distance.

Very convenient location. The hop on hop off route is close by - 5 minute walk.
Junior suite was very comfortable. The two rooms were suitable size for the two of us and entertaining our friends. The lighting in the lounge was a little dark at first but got used to it. If you’re English speaking and want to watch TV bring a firestick or similar as only Sky News. The breakfast was a little basic, ours was included with the room but I doubt I’d have been happy if I had paid 15 euro for it. There are plenty of breakfast cafes about which our friends made use of instead.

At breakfast the tables were a bit too close together. Would have liked a greater variety of meat and cheese
The breakfast was adequate. Enjoyed the cooked breakfast and fresh fruit. We were very impressed with the evening receptionist who was also required to run the bar and did both jobs very well.
