The pool has no shade cover, so be careful swimming unprotected when the sun is high in the sky - I got a bad sunburn. The bathrooms are very private, but also part of the ceiling is open so expect insects etc. The breakfast buffet menu did not change for the week we were there. The property is in an isolated zone, so you will need Gojeck taxis every time you want to leave the Resort, it is not convenient to walk out to the main road.

The two bedroom pool villa was very good. The separate bedrooms are connected by an open plan (it is not fully enclosed and is open air) living room and kitchen, so expected humidity and insects, no air conditioning (only a ceiling fan), which makes it a different zone to live in. The pool is a great size and was very relaxing. The bathrooms are well appointed.

It was a little dirty (mould in shower) and quite worn. There was a rat or mouse that ran around our property on more than one occasion. The water didn’t seem to get very hot and only stayed hot for about 2-5mins max!

The pool was very nice and the place was private and quiet. A different layout than usual but liked how was outside. The wifi was amazing!! Really prompt service too!

Our pool filter was quite loud, but I have to mention as well that the staff did try fix it.... Small thing to mention, I know, but at 6am on a holiday to wake up to a pool filter struggling was not fun. The staff tried to fix it and in the end simply turned it off for me.

The place is lovely. The food was incredible and so were the staff. We liked the location, because we like to bike through Bali and explore. It is set around 800m from the main road, which isn't too far. There is a small local shop right outside the gate selling water, beer and basics. I liked that.

The location was a little bit away from the action which wasn’t necessarily a bad thing, however it made walking a little difficult. We hired a scooter and Gojeks were very affordable to get us where we needed

Breakfast was good. Private pool and outlook was amazing, staff were super helpful and friendly. Affordable mini bar. So many cool beaches to explore

The view wasn't as great as pictures, Bathroom need some improvement (Shower - no pressure, only hot water).. Living room just not practical because it is outside (hot, leather sofa,.. ) and useless (we never used it) Breakfast needs some improvement. Not worth that money. Only had breakfast twice, - and got sick (Bali belly)

It didn’t seem to be in walking distance of a lot. It had a very long driveway which made walking anywhere tricky. Taxis etc are fairly cheap however. There is no wall between the outdoor area and the kitchen/lounge which was very cool in a way however it meant it was very hot and we had some lizards and mosquitos coming in. The bedroom was well air conditioned etc so it didn’t affect sleep or anything like that!

It was a really lovely hotel. Beautifully done villas that felt very private. The pool temperature was perfect. The TV’s were good and had Netflix access. The staff were good but we had very little interaction with them in general. The bed was massive and very comfortable.

I didn’t love the location, it was a little far away from all the restaurants and cafes down near bingin and the traffic is really bad on the main road once you come up from the villa so you really need to give yourself time to get around but all in all it was ok. Mosquitoes were also an issue for us at the room

I loved the feel of a private villa although having the hotel feel with room service, daily room clean and a reception service. The staff were 10/10

The staff is really hospitable and friendly. We spent a month in a villa here and we had a great time. Not too far to a lot of beaches as long as you have a scooter.

Minor negatives- it is set back quite far from the main road which is great because it's quiet but it is quite a walk. We had a scooter to compensate. Also I wouldn't say the location is the 'main' Uluwatu hub so you'll need a scooter or transport. The staff are lovely and helpful but it wouldn't say it's full service like other accommodation we've stayed at. Longer response times to WhatsApp requests and we called reception 3/4 times and there was no answer. Not the end of the world but probably not ideal if it is your first time in Bali as you might want a bit more support.

Beautiful villa with pool and view. Perfect for a couple. We loved the pool and watching the sunset every night. The room had everything you would need for a comfortable stay. Affordable mini bar. Location fine if you have a scooter. Rooms- as pictured. Just beautiful.

Very private & friendly staff. The bed is verrrrry comfyyyy. For the master bedroom bed, can fit to 3adults. The bathroom is so big & extra point for the water host!

We were a bit disappointed that the location was slightly out of the way, although we should have done more research before we came. There was some construction going on around us, as other people had mentioned in the reviews, but we didn’t find this too much of a problem. When we first arrived we felt the villa outside - around the pool area/garden - was looking a little bit run down in comparison to the photos. But these were just small things that we noticed, and it didn’t affect our stay really.

The staff at the Hideaway Villas were very friendly and went out of their way to make you feel comfortable. They came to clean daily and stocked up the mini bar and ensured everything was okay. The beds were nice and comfy, it was great to have a good sized pool to ourselves, and the bathrooms were beautiful. It was very easy to order food/get taxis from the villa too. Overall we enjoyed our stay and we would definitely recommend going if you are looking for a private place to stay (but there are many other villas at the property but we hardly saw anyone else during our stay and our Villa felt completely private).

- There were a few minor things that needed to be fixed (lights, stool, sink) but they were fixed promptly, - The fitness room was small and basic and hot in the mornings due to sun - One of the showers in a room wasn’t great - Situated off the main road with long driveway so can it be a bit hard to find walking or for taxis

I was a bit apprehensive about staying here after reading so many bad reviews. However, I had nothing to be worried about. Rooms were beautiful and clean and bed were so comfortable. The pool was amazing and the view was just gorgeous. Check in and check out was so easy & the staff were so nice and helpful. Breakfast was an assortment of fruits, pastries and a big breakfast plate of eggs, bacon, sausage & hash brown. The property is a fair way out of the way. Making it somewhat difficult to get around, but we hired a driver for the day and also had one scooter. They also arranged a driver for us on our first night to take us out to dinner, so was all very easy I really don’t have anything to complain about and I highly recommend hideaway villas.
