Room very noisy. Woken very early by cycle meet in car park. Bed not very comfortable. Minimal choice of food in restaurant. Having to put swimming costume on in bedroom and go from room with towel round you as could not use lockers. Room was a good trek from reception took five minutes and had to carry bags up three flights of stairs. No iron or ironing board in room

The bed was so uncomfy! Half the mattress on the double bed was very thin and felt like a plank of wood was holding it up so we didn't get a good night's sleep. The decor is very dated and seriously needs modernisation throughout.

All the staff are very friendly and helpful - especially the 2 sisters who worked both the breakfast and evening restaurant. We didn't mind the 80s music at breakfast either. Oh, the shower was powerful and the water is hot! Food in both bar and restaurant is lovely and tasty.

Our room had interconnecting door, it was locked but we found the noise level was more so than in any of the other rooms in which we have stayed previously

Location is very handy for all routes if you are using it as a base for travelling to different parts of Clare or indeed Galway. We don't think it would be great location if you were looking to walk around Ennis town its a few mins drive from the town centre but the bar offers a select bar menu. There's also a Lidl next to the hotel and a centra just down the road which is opened until 11pm nightly

Our bedroom was looking on to the carpark, traffic was right outside our window Which did not give us our privacy.

Didnt like that people were allowed go around in the restaurant without wearing a mask .it wasnt good enough .felt very uncomfortable and no person working in the hotel said anything to them

Run down and dated, was on a 4 day work visit and on the third day ask for a service on the room as we were running out of clean towels etc, The beds weren’t properly changed just tidied up. Lack of maintenance around the property is obviously a issue, The beds were uncomfortable and very old, Owners should go and stay in some other hotels to get an idea of what is on offer elsewhere.

In our opinion the property in general needed a make over as it is getting rather ‘tired’ looking, this applies particularly to the bathroom / en-suite, mattresses needed replacing (getting a little soft and lumpy)

We found the menu was a bit limited but we put this down to covid restrictions, we think it will take time for the hospitality industry a while to recover from the past year and a half. We regret we didn't get a chance to use the leisure facilities, due to covid restrictions you had to book and change in your room, I didn't like the idea of walking around the hotel in a bathing suit....but we were more interested in touring Claire so that didn't concern us too much.

We found the staff very friendly and helpful, the hotel was a little old fashioned but was clean and comfortable. The hotel was busy the weekend we arrived with plenty of children who seemed to have plenty to do to keep them occupied.There was plenty of comfortable seating around the hotel and a lovely courtyard garden.

The secure garden in the middle was ideal for the kids to run around while the adults relaxed at the bench. Food and portion size was very good. Staff so friendly. Pool was good.

Room wasn't cleaned very well. Room also stank. Beds very uncomfortable along with the 1 skinny pillow. Towels had previous mascara stains still on them. WiFi connection poor.

As other people have said , the hotel needs to be updated. The hotel just looks tired.
