Room was looking into a dark courtyard, obviously a new block. There for work, so didn't mind. But maybe a bit of planting/landscaping would soften it!

Lovely big room, everything you need while travelling for work. Walking distance to sea and town, gorgeous spa.

I had a sea view room and it was beautiful, over looking the harbour, very spacious, large bed, extremely comfortable and clean. Staff were extremely friendly and the location is just perfect for a weekend break. The walks available and architecture in Dunlaoighre and location of this hotel is ideal for a perfect break. Food was perfect and good value a 2 course early bird meal was €25.50 and both quantity and quality was excellent.

Check accessibility as the building pre-dates current accessibility standards (beware of steps).

The cocktail menu wasn't the best in Hardys bar, and staff werent allowed to make cocktails that were not on the menu.

Location was perfect, close to the water and beautiful views from the room balcony (we booked sea view). Sauna/Steam Room and Pool was very nice and relaxing. Hardy's bar was nice with live music playing.

Unlike my previous stays my room was in the annex where the movement of supplies made it noisy on occasions. A misfitting door (room 152) meant I couldn’t lock my door at night.

Its location near the DART station makes it an excellent choice for me. The staff are always kind and courteous.

The hotel could do with being painted, and rooms could be updated, but I love the hotel regardless. Cooked breakfast was quite greasy.

The Royal Marine is in a prime location in Dun Laoghaire. It still retains its old-world elegance with beautiful views across the Bay.
