We were on the ground floor just a long the corridor from the reception. the reception is manned 24hrs and it was very noisy in the early hours of the morning which woke us up. Although clean it was dated and mattress uncomfortable

Hotel owners were friendly and professional. Room was somewhat dated, but it was an economy room so you get what you pay for. Excellent breakfast. All areas of the hotel were very clean. Comfortable beds, some noise from outside, but not enough to disturb us. Hotel is only a few minutes walk from Central station, about 20-25 mins from Leaning Tower. Perfect for a short stay, and we would definitely return.

Maintenance in the room - fixing light bulbs that don't work & tightening the toilet seat so that it doesn't move.

The rooms are a little out of fashion, but very clean and confortable. However, the real problem facing the hotel is the employee in the reception in the night shift during our one night stay. Rude, unpolite and showing a total lack of professionality and respect for the guest. To say the least. He denied us any information about cab service to the information in a very disrespectful way. My partner was not able to find her ID card. Because of the chance that she might have forgoten it at the reception, I asked this person, who basically replied, without even checking and with terrible manners to go and check somewhere else. I have been in hundreds of hotels and never seen such a treatment to guests. The hotel must take this comment very seriously. Still, we thank the management for their prompt reply to our message regarding the lost ID card.

The location. Just 5 minutes from the train station and a delightful 25 minute walk across the city center to the Duomo. The welcoming woman at the reception, who gave us really good advice and directions.

Can't reproach much, since the issues were mostly not the hotel's fault - can't blame them for me being cold in January! :) Although I do suppose the heating is centrally managed and only working at night if I am not mistaken, which might've caused me being chilly in the room outside those hours. The AC can be used to heat up the room if you're not very environment conscious, but the bathroom stays cold anyway. But that's a very minor issue. Other than that the walls are either super thin or not soundproofed so if the guests are loud, expect to hear everything, but nothing the hotel can do here.

I liked the design of the hotel, very classy and soulful! Also had a very pleasant experience with the receptionists, who were very kind. Location is very close to the train station. I was warned by local friends that it is not the best location, but I can't corroborate that since it seemed absolutely normal and residential. While train stations are dodgy everywhere, the street of the hotel seemed residential and was mostly empty. And the location was super convenient due to my early flight - so no issues on that front and no need to get too deterred.

The staff were absolutely lovely and the location of this hotel is fantastic. The rooms were spotless and the beds were extremely comfy. Rooms have heating & aircon so great for anytime of the year and there was mosquito repelling plugs in both of our rooms which is great as I always get bitten. This hotel is simply brilliant!
