Bathroom awkward. Shower in bath, curtains open in wrong position. Plus one light not working and therefore bathroom dark. Not sure if the 2nd light would have helped. One key for apartment between 3 people not helpfull.

Great location. Just up from all the shops and restaurants. Nice separate kitchen. Lounge sunny in morning and roomy. Good outside lines for drying. Good size bedrooms.

On arrival,we did not receive a notice where to go. When we got there, nobody was there to meet us. In addition, we had no hot water until we figured out that the hot water tank was shut off.

The great location meant it was very noisy at night with dogs, people and drunks stumbling up the hill until about 3am. The place felt like the owner had just walked out and left all their stuff there. The bathroom and kitchen both need upgrades. There was no hot water in the kitchen. There is no lift so you need to walk up and down six flights of stairs. The owner/manager did help us get our suitcases up there though so that was helpful.

The apartment was perfectly located in the gorgeous old town part of Monterosso. Super close to the small supermarket, shops, eateries and the ocean. We loved the location! We loved the quality of the apartment and the beds were hard but comfy. The place had a great feel to it in general and the little balcony with washing line was a godsend.

The apartment was not very clean, we couldn’t walk around without shoes because the floors were dirty We also didn’t realise at the time of booming there were 3 flights of stairs with no lift, this was tough in extreme heat

The trade off for the great location was the early morning wake up with all the street noise. Late at night & early in the morning you will hear everything & earplugs did not help :( The apartment could use modernising as the furnishings are quite dated. A deep clean of presses is needed. Glass was found under one of the beds. Apartment is on 3rd floor with 6 flights of stairs to climb to get there. Just something to consider if you have mobility issues.

The location is great - near train station & all restaurants & pubs 5-10 min walk away. Supermarket & ATM next door. No hills to climb to get to the apartment. 2 large bedrooms with lots of storage in each. Double beds in both rooms. Small balcony with table & chairs was nice for a coffee in morning. Toilet roll, hand soap, towels, hairdryer, kettle, toaster & condiments such as tea/ coffee etc. were provided. Sadly, to receive these basics are now a luxury in many accommodations. Apartment heating worked great as was cold in evenings. Plenty of hot water.

Do bring your earplugs because you are right in the heart of town & it can be noisy some nights.

Fantastic location very close to many restaurants, shops, grocery store, and the best of charming Monterosso al Mare. Spacious comfortable apartment with lovely balcony, perfect for two. The apartment was a bit older, and not updated, but it has everything you need and is an excellent value in the expensive Cinque Terre. We stayed 5 nights and wished we could have stayed longer. Would love to stay here again in the future, the locastion is ideal!

I didn't find any good information about parking. There wasn't a lot of parking place and everything was full. We had to left car in the top of the hill. There were police officers who were giving ticket to all cars which parked close to Monterosso. Next time I would ask owner to help with booking taxi or came to Monterosso by car. I think that is very important if you want to avoid a lot of inconvenience with parking.

Monterosso al Mare is not so big, so location of each apartment has to be good. We don't spend a lot of time inside, so there is not so much to say. The purpose of apartment was fulfilled.

There was not enough hot water for a family while showering, much less a bath, which would have been delightful.

Well located in a charming community that was not so pretentious, and which had something going for it besides just catering to tourists. The apartment was warm in character. Would have liked to stay longer.

Mario was absolutely amazing, dropping everything to fix a major issue we had. The location is perfect, and has everything you need. comfortable beds, great bathroom, fully functional kitchen, and a lovely balcony. The laundry facilities are amazing too.

It felt unsafe! if I was travelling with children I would have left. Electric plug sockets were hanging off walls or even missing altogether with wires showing. Terrible noise insulation from the street and if the neighbours flush the toilet or use the shower, it echoes in this flat! Although it was cleaned, it felt kind of grimy! Also it’s on the 3rd floor and no lift for anyone with mobility issues.
