Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

RomaniaThe windows were not very well noise proffed and also the bathroom could have a little more improvements. Altough the breakfast was good, it will have been wanderful if they could serve vegetables/fruits and also dairy.
Located near a metro station, but at the time of our stay the station was disabled and also near a bus station. A distance walk to Termini station. They cleaned every day the room.

United KingdomLocation is very close to metro station and quite close to the main railway station. Breakfast served in room. Chocolate cake and pastries for those with a sweet tooth (other options available for those looking for something a little more healthy).

IrelandThe bathroom is small, but overall it worked fine!
The property is well run, clean and the staff are lovely. it is an easy 10 min walk from Termini station and has a metro right outside the door going to the Vatican which is very handy. it is also approx 10-15 min walk to the coliseum so it's a good location for this side of town, although you are 30 mins from Trevi and that general area.

IrelandWe saw the little kitchen area but we checked ourselves in so we weren't told about how breakfast worked. We did make a cup of coffee but there was no fridge/milk. It was only on leaving that we met a member of staff.
The room was very clean and comfortable. Nice size bathroom.

GreeceThe price was very good and the appartment wonderful! Lorenzo was very kind and helpful in everything we asked for! Domus Doma is next to the metro station, and about 500m from the central bus / train station! Additionally, there were very good restaurants very close to it!

Czech RepublicBreakfast, it is outsourced. We didn't like it, very creamy croissants and with a lot of chocolate.
Good location, close to Termini station. Walking distance to many places, we almost didn't use public transport. And Lorenzo is very helpful, he allowed us to make early check in and leave our bags after check out.

PolandThe staff was very nice and helpful, friendly to guests. Location in a quiet neighborhood, a good starting point for walking around Rome, but also close to the metro station and Roma Termini station (including transportation to the airport). Continental breakfast in a nearby bar (which means for us it's more like a second breakfast :)), where a very friendly and always smiling lady works. Rooms are very small, but clean and with comfortable beds - just right for a weekly stay of two or three people. We recommend it, especially to people who come to Rome for sightseeing and need a good place for an overnight stay.

United KingdomIf you are a family of four and don't plan unpacking as you are only bthe for 1 or 2 nights then luggage space can be a bit squashed. But if we had unpacked then loads of wardrobe and draw space.
Lorenzo and the lady whose name I have forgotten were amazingly friendly and helpful. Place was very clean. Pretty great location in a quiet neighborhood but only a 10 mins walk to Rome Termini for metro and main trains. Only 10 mins walk to Collaseum area. If fancy a change from Italian food, there are some good Chinese restaurants near by. Quirky old style lift. Great value for money for Rome.

FinlandThere were noise from the street, but after a few nights, that does not wake up anymore. And when you stay at the central, I think that's normal :-).
Location was superb. You can walk all the placies and just downstairs was nice restaurant (Trattorio Monti). Breakfast was nice, you tell what to want and they bring it to your room.

DenmarkThis was just perfect for a short stay in Rome. I arrived late at night, and the self check-in instructions were clear and worked well. Lorenzo was so nice and helpful. The room is renovated and functional, with a great shower. Breakfast was a very nice selection, including eggs and toasties. The small number of rooms gives the experience a relaxed home-y feeling. The location is ideal: close to the central train station and metro, but blissfully quiet (no noise from the street or building). Nearby, there are also many good restaurant options and taxi stands.
