Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty

- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Bathroom needs a little updating.
The hotel is in the most perfect location - between S Marco's and the Rialto. Perfect. I was on the top floor, my room small but clean and simple. The staff were all fabulous and were extremely keen to help if i needed anything. The breakfast was nice and pastries were excellent. I enjoyed my stay.

The room & decor was quite tired. I would expect a separate shower & bath given the cost. There was also a phone in our room that someone must have left & the alarm kept going off!

The room was a little dark but we were not there for very long. There was no view.
Breakfast was excellent. A huge range and the service was great. Plenty to eat.

Breakfast could have more options when compared to other 4 Star properties around the world
The location of the Hotel is very good. 10 minutes walk to the Square on one end, and 5 minutes walk to the Rialto on the other end.

Rooms located on the same side as hotel reception entrance (101, 102), were susceptible to street noise quite late pre-midnight. Television had limited English channels and not as listed. On occasions toilet flush would continue to run, noisy and wasted water (reported and attempts made to resolve). The dining room round table layout made seating for 4 people at a table a little cramped.
Location ideal midway between San Marks Square and Rialto bridge. Room was good size and reasonably appointed. Breakfast selection and quality was very good and replenished quickly, when required. Tables cleared promptly and dining room and reception staff very helpful and obliging. Storage of luggage after check out was available and secure. Lift available to upper floors. Well appointed bathroom with large shower. Fresh flowers filled the reception area with pleasant aroma of lilies.

Cleanliness of the restroom. Had previous guests hair stuck on the walls of the tub.
It had a very Venetian vibe which served the location. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Had a huge room for a suite. Breakfast was good too.

The pillow is so thin. Even though they provide another set of pillow in the closet, stacking them is not so comfortable to sleep on.
The room is spacious with bathtub :) The staffs are very nice and helpful. The breakfast is moderate, but nothing to complain. The location is great, easy to walk to all attractions.

Toilets are very old and damaged. One sink tab did not work. Window of the toilette was visually damaged. Bed seemed to have a very old mattress. Not confortable

Hotel could have a ramp on the front.
Location is def its biggest upside, you're pretty much next to Ponte Rialto, many ristorantes and shops around it and very close to the shore where you can get transportation to pretty much everywhere. Breakfast is good. Staff helpful.

we liked every thing
location was excellent, staff were very friendly, rooms were good, last day we had to leave early in the morning they packed us breakfast and that was unexpected and was very nice. they also reserved taxi and porter for us which worked out very nicely.

One of our rooms for 3 had a queen bed and a chair bed which our daughter did not find comfortable
The location was perfect to Saint Marks Square 5 min. And had great shops and resteraunt all around. The breakfast was great with a large selection. The front desk staff helped book a water taxi to the airport for the 7 of us. And one of the staff led us to it. They also held our luggage when we got there early. We would stay there again

No standard comforter, recommend bring extra blankets.

Not really a complaint but the property is smaller than other hotels but this also gives it its character.
Location is its biggest asset as it is right between arguably Venice’s most popular spots, Rialto Bridge and Piazza San Marco. The staff was great as well. Harley from reception gave very useful tips and went out of his way to make sure our stay was hassle free.
