The room don’t have a window!! And when I asked the receptionist that in the picture of the room it appears with window he said half of them do have half of them no. And that I could open the door to be like a window, where if you open everyone from other rooms passes from the front. In the shower I and my pregnant wife that I informed 2 months ago that she is pregnant we couldn’t fit because the water plug was coming from 1,60 high and we are taller than this. The bathroom again it appears at the pictures to be otherwise because the one number 4 room was very old and bad condition. So for the window less and the problems in the bathroom first you didn’t respect our situation of pregnancy and second you had different pictures than reality. Bad!

The room was not as pictured. It smelt of damp mould and was unrenovated. The toilet leaked and was it fixed twice.

Everything. The room was different from the picture. To small and to old. Horrible uncomfortable bed. The bathroom needs to be fixed. On the booking there is an information about city tax is wrong. On the booking description it is 4,5€. When we were checking in the first receptionist told us that it will be 20€ for 2 nights. And when we were checking out another second receptionist told us that it is 28€ for 2 nights. It’s very ugly to mislead and deceive consumers on price. In the breakfast area all chandeliers were broken, the plates were greasy, so good was just location but there are a lot of chipper and more comfortable hotels in Florence

It is difficult to find something to complain about our experience as we really enjoyed our stay. What we would have liked was if there were some more snack options to order from the bar.

The room was very comfortable and clean, with an amazing view of the river. The staff were truly accommodating and helped us to make dinner reservations and book transport. Overall a really amazing stay.

My room was in the historical building and this is fine for me, but the problem is that the Hotel management consider that historical means that it is just Bygone era !!! No Maintenance, Some Electric sockets were not working, specially the one for the Refrigerator. NO heating, so they sent me a small portable unit. The wooden floor was suffering and loudly Moaning with every step. The window was very hard to open so you feel like a prisoner in prison cell with very bad ventilation. The court has Air condition Machines that made over heating by High heat dissipation. The non working refrigerator spoil my INSULIN medications and my food as well.

Electricity in the room was connected to the lights. When we turned off the lights we couldnt charge anything.

The location was perfect, so many things are within walking distance. The room and hotel has character and was clean and comfortable. The staff are friendly and professional. Breakfast was exceptional quality.

The breakfast has a nice offering but we only got it once out of three mornings because all the hot food was freezing cold.

I’d recommend asking for a room in the renovated part of the hotel. We initially were placed on the old part of the hotel but had to move as the original door wouldn’t lock. We didn’t love the first room we had as it was a dingy but when they moved us it was much, much nicer.

The feeling of being hosted in a classic Italian Palazzo in the middle of Florence is all you need. Our room was gorgeous, also an amazing painted ceiling; we had everything we needed. The location is simply perfect, the staff and the hotel's overall ambiance is very relaxing. The hotel also has a gorgeous panoramic terrace, a gorgeous private view of Florence. Highly recommend this place! thanks for an amazing experience!

River-view room we had was restored and HUGE; three times the size of a normal hotel room. Lobby was excellent. Staff always moved right away to assist with anything needed. The best stay in the heart of old Florence, on the river.

Nothing bad to say about this hotel

The staff were amazing, polite and helpful and the outside sitting area is nice and secluded from the outside noise but the best extra item is the terrace. At night, with a couple of drinks form the bar and you could stay there for the entire evening.

We believed we had booked a 4 star hotel, the entrance to the hotel was good, but our room number 12 was poor, there were cracks in the wall next to the door, the bathroom mirror was chipped, the bathroom facilities were poor and chipped, the shower was old and tired, there was new plaster work that was unpainted around the air-con unit. and the room was small. The mattress did not fit the bed as it was shorted than the bed itself. When we raised these issues with reception we were told that our room number 12 was in the old part of the hotel that had not been renovated. Not a good experience and i would not use this hotel or this hotel chain again. Very disappointed :-(

I got a room in the old part of the building. Very tiny and dark room. In the toilet was dirty towel in the corner of the shower when I arrived. In the night I couldn’t fall asleep, it was very noisy, felt like an airplane was landing constantly somewhere nearby, all the walls were shaking. Together with the receptionist we found the source of it. Above my room it was some kind of generator which did all the noise. At 3 am I’ve change my room. It was in the new renovated part of the hotel. It was nice and clean. Pity I didn’t get it from the beginning. Do not buy breakfast if you are vegetarian or vegan, very poor choice.

room 10 next to our room 12 was so noisy. you were disturbed each time someone went into the bathroom room10, so annoying you could hear all the water running through the pipes when using the toilet, shower , could clearly hear people in the room talking ☹️. we were glad to be out the room. Dated, run down , the corridor to the room a piece of wall had a huge hole in it and was gapping piecce missing . the room had all cracks in it .

Our room was tiny and we could never get the air to work. Had to go outside to the Foody Farm for breakfast. I didn’t feel they were very friendly at Foody Farm or the Front Desk. I hope the hotel appreciates LD!!

LD was amazing and so friendly. She was so delightful to talk to.

The room was awful. Uncomfortable bed, terrible door to the room which let lots of light in, the corridor was noisy and the AC units outside were noisy at night, the shower was bad and would randomly let water out through the night.

The staff were excellent as was the location. The reception, courtyard and breakfast was good.
