Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Close to main train station, easy for our day trip. We had a very comfortable bed and room. Hotel facilities are great, good vale for money. Staff are very friendly and helpful. A lady in breakfast room is very kind and cheerful. Will definitely stay here again if we get back to Milan.

The room was too hot but I realize they can’t turn the AC on until a certain date. The WiFi was unrealible

The smoke ! Woken up unexpectedly by strong cigarette smoke at 5 am from heaven knows where ? There’s even ashtrays in the hotel room. I realise this is more a city or national ordinance , but for most Australians, it’s very bizarre and disturbing the prevalence of cigarette smoke everywhere!
Old fashioned style style grand like hotel right next to the Central Milan station. Beautifully quiet due to good double glazing

the air conditioning in the bedroom was out of order.
The staff were most helpful and friendly and they helped with our luggage. The room was spotless, Breakfast good. The only problem we experienced was the air conditioning was not working, so the room was very warm. The location of the hotel is very near the train station and the bus stops for the 3 airports. Just a 5 minute walk with luggage.

*The air conditioning didn’t work in our room , we were given a fan but it made little difference. The room was small and was a bit tired to be honest, not what we expected for 4 star.
The Hotel was located right by the train station which was handy for our early train. The breakfast choice was good and there is a lounge area , bar closes at 10pm but drinks can be delivered to your room. *The two glasses of wine we had bought was deducted from our bill to apologise for air conditioning problem below.

I asked for a room facing the main road. But was told they had full bookings though I had booked much earlier.. I think that if we book rooms through booking. Com we always get back side facing rooms..
Opp the central Station,. Breakfast was good.. Fried eggs were not served.. It was chargeble.

Big bed, everything was provided. Good hotel based on the Italian Standards. A bit maybe old fashioned, but once again, comfortable. Stayed in the same group of the hotel in Genova, cann’t be compared. It Genova- it’s excellent, in Milan - normal.
Location. It’s convenient, but as it’s a central station area, not that safe and clean.

We had asked for a non smoking room and were given a smoking one. I told the receptionist and they did something to remove the smell so it was okay in the end.
Excellent location. Our room was on the top floor and had a great view. Room was clean and with tea and coffee making facilities. Very good breakfast

There was poor lighting in the room and the bathroom taps are the older type (except shower), not mixers. Also the rooms were stuffy as you cannot control the temperature yourself. With these small improvements the hotel would be excellent.
Very good location and excellent breakfast. Very polite staff.

Everything worked precisely and the staff made me feel welcome. Breakfast at the hotel was a nice way to start the day. If you travel by train from Malpensa, the location near the train station is great.

Location is perfect, just opposite Milano Centrale and underground is close, easy to get any place on foot or by transport. Breakfasts were delicious and a lot of food. Reception guy is always ready to help .
