The shower cubicle was quite small, though the bathroom was very clean.

Our triple room was large and comfortable. Coffee and tea were available 24/7 in the main lobby and staff were friendly and helpful. There was also a lift available for use to the floor.

Unfortunately hotels in the vicinity of center are subject to camera monitor systems. If you are driving with your own car and you are not resident or registered in private park place in center, then you are receiving at home the ticket with around 120€ fine.

This hotel is a small but very nice and authentic one. It's located almost in the center of Firenze. Our room had a painting in the ceiling and it's height was big with big windows too which is topically elegant and seems aristocratic. Room temperature was all the time controlled which makes very pleasant staying and resting. Staff was polite and ready to help for everything. An extra stress free option was the private parking next to the hotel.

I wish I had stayed longer than 2 nights. We will have to return :) Thank you Mario & Giulia!! My doggie Wellington Jr. & I appreciate you so VERY MUCH!!! :-) We will see you soon again!

When I woke up in hotel Burchianti, in Firenze, for a moment I thought I was waking up in the most beautiful Museum/church/Palazzo as the ceiling fresco was what I first laid eyes on, and it was truly magnificent! I’ve been lucky to have experienced my fair share of beautiful hotels, even here in Italy, but Hotel Burchianti is a dimension in itself! 😊 Hotel Staff Mario & Giulia were extremely courteous, and always elegantly dressed. Aside from the excellent comfort of the room, the hotel couldn’t be more central, a 7-minute walk from the main train station, a 6-minute walk from the outdoor-David; on a quiet street that has all the convenience of center. While the hotel doesn’t provide a large, continental buffet style breakfast, they provided water coffee and tea available in the lobby at all times; the large breakfast didn’t feel like a big missing because as you exit the hotel, there are so many bakeries and yummy delicious food places, that everything worked out easily, I have already shared about this hotel and shown photos of it with the strongest recommendations to the humans in my life: everyone should be so lucky to get to visit Hotel Burchianti, Aside from being friendly, it is also budget friendly. If you travel with a small group or a family, ask for rooms 5 & 6; not only they are gorgeous minisuites, but they connect by a small private alcove, which almost makes it all 1 big XL-suite. Room 5 sleeps up to three people and room 6 sleeps up to four people. Both are truly STUNNING! (I checked in solo with my pup in room 6, and for almost 2 hours, all I did was sit and look at the beauty of the room. Luckily this was not my first time in Florence; nonetheless, I had to force myself to leave the stunning room and go exxplore the Beauty outside) :)

Although not the most comfortable room. Space for improvement for sure. Like better shower glass, hairdryer (thats from the 90s), bed linen could be much better and intact and warmer. Really don't like when they just put on the blanket over the bed sheet. Also problem with mosquitos. Breakfast is only sweets which I just cannot eat. really not for any diabetes this breakfast. No cheese no ham no nothing. Just sweets. They shouldn't charge for water on the room.

Beautiful paintings. Very nice personal. Nice building. Coffee (black normal) was free during the day

It was a bit cold during the night. Would have been nice to have an extra blanket.

The members of the staff were extremely nice and caring. Free coffee/tea/water available throughout the day was very good. The hotel is in a traditional building and has a very nice entrance area with high and beautiful ceiling. The location is perfect, close to the city centre and the main train station, Firenze S.M.N. as well as the tram to the airport.

Pricey for the room size. The premium must be for the location.

Centrally located (Cathedral is 400 m away) in an alley. There is a garage close by which was excellent for us, as finding a parking spot in Florence can be a nightmare. The room is spacious with 17th century murals on the ceiling.

Windowless room was odd at first. A few more hooks in bathroom would be useful for 2 people. And another place to put a suitcase for working out of, would save bending for stuff old folk.

Welcoming staff that made us feel like friends. Sympathetic when our travel plans went wrong and gave us breakfast on the house. Amazing ceilings, wonderful fragrance in lobby. Very relaxing.
