The staff are welcoming and nice, location is perfect. The interior design of this guesthouse is very Venice vibe. They have the best breakfast pastry. They offer us to leave our luggage after check out before our flight, so we had time to explore more without the hassle of carrying our bags.

The exact location can be a little difficult to find if you are using Google Maps to get you to the place. Maps takes you to the next parallel lane.

It was a small homely place to stay where we just stayed for a night when I went for the Venice Marathon.

The room exceeded our expectations, we thought it was going to be a little smaller. "For us" we don't eat out every night and tend to prep food for next day activities, Fruit,sandwiches ,cold drink etc so a slightly larger fridge would be great we did appreciate the fridge that was provided in the room.

For us we did not want to be in the main tourist through-fair we had looked up the Ca Ricco independently and the location. We walked to the points of interest we wanted to experience and of course there a great surprises in the vicinity of the hostel of which our host advised us of. The ambient of Ca Riccio is calming, the location is authentic and how we wanted to experience being in Venice. Our room was prepared wonderfully thank you

Not sure where the mosquitoes came from in November, but come they did. Is this a problem for the property? Not sure. It was definitely an issue for prior occupants, though, as there were squashed mosquitoes here and there on the walls and ceiling, smashed by previous adventureres. A bit ick. The rest of the cleanliness was fine, but I can't rate it as clean when there are mosquito carcasses everywhere. Also, don't expect to see a member of staff - we didn't see a single other person in the property. Everything went fine, but if there were to be an issue then lack of visible staff could be a problem.

Excellent location, close to Fondamente Nove, where the Alilaguna ferry from the Airport (Marco Polo) dropped us off. Everything in Venice is a little hard to find, but Ca'Riccio is marked on the door. From this location in Cannaregio it is very easy to walk to the most popular sights, and the water ferries are also very accessible. Ca'Riccio is on the 2nd floor (3rd floor to Americans) and there is no lift, so make sure you are okay with stairs. Our room was then another floor up, under the rafters, with a rooftop view over nearby primary school, houses, and inevitable church. The instructions for arrival and entry to the room were clear, which is important as there are never any staff on site.

Pack light, to carry your bags up the stairs. Give the shower water lots of time to get hot and it will.

Really liked being in a local neighborhood and tried to support local businesses. Host gave helpful suggestions on things to see and places to eat. Communication in advance was good. Best to simply wander around far from the crowds.

Better availability of a person to help on location. Shower should be fixed. Conditioner should also be kept as toiletries option.

Good location, clean and tidy rooms. We used the triple room and it was spacious. Easy check in. However post that the reception was never manned. However, it was easy to reach them and proper guidance was given for use of facilities. Shower in the bathroom could have been better. Air conditioning was slow and took time to cool the room - we were in Venice during hot summer time.

We were told we would be staying on the first floor, our room was in the attic and accessible via a spiral staircase which was not easy with luggage. We only saw one lady when we arrived at the place before check in to store our luggage until the room was ready. Every time I got off the bed I had to duck as the ceiling was so low and I knocked my head once or twice.

The room was very quiet and quite well situated to get to most places, but I do understand its a challenge in Venice.

The setting is beautiful. There's an aircon as well as a bathtub. The location is great as it's in the middle of Venice, quite close to San Marco Basilica. Also, the owners are super friendly and helpful! I would recommend this place 100%!

There are no any possibility to cook or prepare the food. The view from window was on another roof. Toilet is needed for some repair (especially shower cabin - there was only one door side for closing - see photo)

In general everything is fine - this is good place to stay for a few nights in Venezia: there are pretty comfortable beds, working toilet and shower. Air conditioner also works okay. Also host provided electric kettle and cups for us!

So many stairs and no elevator, if you’re lugging a big suitcase you best be ready for that! Room was smaller than expected, was tough to fit two large suitcases.

Great location, great host, close enough to the hustle and bustle without being too close, easy walk to the waterbus stops and the canals. Room was comfortable and it had great shower pressure!
