Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

ItalyThe room was a little smaller than I believed, but the deal breaker for me was the lack of vent in the bathroom. Given the absence of a ventilation system.
Close, cozy, jacuzzi, all the toiletry equipment were present.

United States of AmericaIf you bring heavy luggage you will not like the stairs, but those who travel light will easily navigate the beautiful accommodations.
Location was exceptional with proximity to the Archaeological National Park & Museum. Free Parking was perfectly situated next to the breakfast restaurant too. We loved dining at Antiche Mura & wine bar. We were so happy that we stayed an extra night! Room had well appointed amenities. Ease of check-in, extended stay too with friendly staff at reception, parking attendants, & Bar Anna.

United KingdomOur bedroom (which was at the top) was a bit airless with just the small round windows near the floor, although to be fair there was an air-conditioning unit which we didn’t use. But otherwise is was pretty much perfect
Room was really pretty and the breakfast arrangement was absolutely great!

CanadaThe shower head was broken but we made it work. Overall a great place to stay, old world charm that has been modernized.
We enjoyed our stay here, the room was clean and spacious. The hotel is very close to the Temples and museum. You have a number of restaurants to choose from. The staff gave us the option to check in digitally through "What'sApp" which was great for us but they will meet you at the site if you prefer. If you arrive by train it is a fair distance to walk but if you have the means you can call for a Taxi. Breakfast is available about 30 meters down the road at Anna's Bar which was great!

United States of AmericaCasa Rubini was a nice, quaint litte place in Paestum! The host Sofia was very helpful in getting me checked in and settled. Very much appreciated her help in coordinating an early cab ride to the Salerno port for an early ferry to Sorrento. THANKS Sofia! :) The location was perfect for visiting the Ruins of Paestum and there were several very nice little restaurants just up the street for dinner. Was very surprised how active the little town was, folks were partying well into the night. It was a bit loud, but thankfully I always bring ear plugs and those kept me from losing sleep.

United KingdomThe keypad on the entrance door was very awkward - sometimes working and other times needing nearly 10 tries which was frustrating. There was a very lively bar just across the lane. The 'breakfast' is just a (good) croissant and coffee so may not suit some larger appetites. Friendly staff.
Towels changed daily. Good quality bed linen and comfortable bed. Stylish renovation of interior still keeping come of the original items. The arranged parking was an easy walk and right outside the temple ruins entrance. The cafe for breakfast was beside the same parking area. A smart restaurant (check opening days) a few meters down the same lane with a vast wine list and good food. The museum is well worth visiting with fascinating items and the entrance fee covers the temple ruins too.

United KingdomThe entry to the building is by number pad on the main door, and this was a bit hit and miss - we had to enter the correct number several times to gain entry. The internal stairs are narrow and steep and probably not suitable for anyone with impaired mobility.
A quirky property - the room was full of character and was well equipped, comfortable and attractive. It’s very well located, only a short walk from the archaeological park. Free parking was made available for us at the public car park 200m down the road and a good breakfast was available at a cafe adjacent to the car park. Sofia contacted us via WhatsApp as we travelled towards Paestum and arranged to meet us at the property when we arrived - there is no manned reception at the property. She was efficient and ensured we had all we needed.

United States of AmericaIf you have a lot of luggage, it was difficult to navigate the stairs. Breakfast was not served on the property as indicated on booking.com. We had to go to a restaurant a couple hundred yards down the road. There is a nice little restaurant next door, however, on Saturday night, there was a constant combination of music and loud conversations going on until 4 in the morning. On Sunday, it was a little better, only until 2 am.
The location to the Greek Temples, restaurants and souvenir shops..

Casa Rubini is a brilliant place to stay when seeing Paestum (probably the highlight of our cultural experiences during this holiday). The room was really comfy, the breakfasts really delicious and Veronica was a wonderful host, sorting out a taxi for us and great at communicating how to self check in after our train ride from Naples. The hotel is literally within sight of Paestum, with lots of restaurant choices for dinner, but we went to Amici, opposite which was really exceptional.
