Not great soundproofing, could hear next door rooms as been in the same room. This is hotel gets a problem of sewage as a bad smell is in the background with visits of sewage truck. Restaurant was disappointing. we won't stay there again.

The view from this hilltop castle is spectacular in all directions. The ambience at dusk is the fantasy of a Tuscan sunset. Staff friendly and very competent.

Coffee was very slow to arrive at breakfast - we had to ask for it twice, just as the night before at the restaurant for our drinks.

Spacious rooms, comfortable beds, would have preferred a separate shower but we booked the last room anyway. The breakfast buffet was very good. Our risotto at the restaurant was fantastic.

The room that we stayed there was tiny. It is OK for a one night stay, but would be inconvenient for a longer stay. We were also surprised not to find a bar in the lobby, so apart from having a dinner, there is nothing you can do in the hotel in the evening.

The view from the hotel is magnificent. The staff are very attentive and nice. The room was cozy and clean. There was a good buffet for the breakfast.

they had a wedding being hosted at the hotel on saturday, therefore kindly ask us to seek somewhere else to have lunch and dinner. basically, can’t use the hotel since we’ll be busy. They didn’t even have the courtesy to offer a recommendation. If you don’t have the capacity for to service hoyel guests + wedding guests, then do not open your rooms to the public. The room AC didn’t work, the minibar fridge wasn’t cold. The staff Stefano and Vladi where amazingly friendly and took care of us one evening of our two day stay

What's not to like about a interesting historic building set in fantastic location with good food, good wine, good service. Recomended

Room was clean comfortable and mostly quite. Air conditioning a must as the temperature was around 30 deg C during the day. Nice pool to cool off in. Location is way out of town in the rolling tuscan countryside so you need a car. Great views from terrace Good on site restaurant. Loverly wine.

Our room was right above the entrance and we were woken up at around 6am by the linen trolleys being dragged over the rocks. It was a fairly unpleasant noise and didn’t stop until past 8am. The restaurant was quite expensive for small portions.

It was stunning - we saw one of the most beautiful sunsets from the outdoor restaurant. There are great walking and cycling routes right on the doorstep. The pool was fabulous and being able to get a drink or snack while relaxing by it was great. The room and bathroom was very big.

We absolutely loved out stay at Castello di Leonina. The views are spectacular, the staff are incredibly welcoming and accommodating. They couldn't have done more for us. Juicy, was especially lovely. She really did make our stay feel extra special. We would highly recommend this resort to anyone.

The historic building is amazing, the view fantastic. We even dared to have a swim in the pool in October. Pity we only could stay for 2 nights. The scenery in the early morning with the Tuscany fog was simply breathtaking.

No actual bar, we had to ask in restaurant for drinks on the terrace and keep going in to ask. Waiting staff were rude and miserable. Hotel was very traditional but decor and furniture dated. Great selection at breakfast but scrambled eggs and bacon cold - we were to scared to mention and no one came to our table and offered coffee.

Location was great, definitely require a car though. Reception was excellent.

There is truly nothing bad to say about this place! I would just like to know how much my dinner bill is once dinner concludes. It’s just charged to the room (which is great so I don’t have to bring a purse), but we don’t see the total after our dinner or get a receipt at the conclusion of dinner. This can make it hard to know what you’re spending while you’re there.

The views at Castello di Leonina are absolutely breathtaking. This was my favorite stop in Italy. It was the relaxing break I needed and the staff was lovely. I will most definitely be back! My husband said it was also his favorite place we visited.

"Suite" was just a little bit bigger room and sofa bed was horrible. Really bad thing was the smell in bathroom (probably mold) which made us feel sick and didn't want to even consider to use the bath tub. Also there were plants growing out from radiator, which was pretty unpleasant surprise.

There's a WEIRD vibe in that place. Small awful speakers play classical music everywhere , it's just crippy. Don't waste your money and book a different restaurant then the restaurant they have there. The food is really bad and overpriced, let alone the awful service. We waited 30 minutes just to get the menu.
