It would've been nice if the communal kitchen had typical 'staple' ingredients, ie. olive oil, salt/pepper.

Cute little room with a lovely balcony, located a short walk to a metro station. Although there isn't a fridge in your room, there is a communal fridge which is helpful. The restaurant and wine bar downstairs have a great local feel, so you really feel like you're staying in a real neighbourhood in Rome.

Cold weather than expected, so it was hard for me to enjoy the wonderful Terrace at night. But not fault of the house! Hope to come back.

The only negative was that the WiFi cut out a few times for several hours during my 4 night stay. This resulting loss of internet led to an inability to book and check several things online.

The room and the whole hotel experience was good. The free snacks in the room upon arrival was a nice touch and much appreciated. Also, Maria and Christine were excellent - they were very friendly and helpful.

It is in a quiet neighborhood area outside the city center but very well connected to the metro and with lots of restaurants nearby. You are in downtown in 15min. The room was spacious and clean. Had everything we needed for a short stay. The hosts were super friendly and accommodating.

You can hear everything. The room borders the bathroom of the next room, so at night you may be woken up by the sound of water pouring overhead.

Unfortunately, the poor soundproofing of the rooms is a serious reason not to visit this hotel (again). You could hear totally everything the whole day and night. You can hear someone speaking from another room like he’s in your room. You can hear the doors, the steps, the bathroom, totally everything!

It was closed to a metro station. The welcome “gift” with water, tea and other staff for snacking or a quick breakfast. The bathroom was clean and the receptionist was very polite and helpful.

The first 5 steps before you reach the elevator could be an issue for an older person with a suitcase.

The mattress were very comfortable. The room was basic but with everything you could need for a short stay. There is a good and cheap café-restaurant called Tavola Calda just on the left of the building. The price compared to the location was very good.

The room was smaller than we expected, but it didnt matter because we just slept there. Room was with balcony and nice view. Not far from metro station so traveling to the centre is easy during the day, during night is little bit harder because you have to take bus from the centre and takes much longer. There was also a very nice italian restaurant in the building.

The fridge was outside the room and shared with other clients. Shower was a bit narrow.

Bed was extremely confortable and the terrace provided a nice atmosphere to drink something while chilling. Cleaning was on point.

The location is very good, near "MA" underground station, bus stop, and a good restaurant on the 1st floor. 30 min on the metro to the city center. ~10 min by step to the 24/7 supermarket.

Air conditioning was not great. Only works after 4 pm and then would stop working in the middle of the night. No fan or ventilation in the room other than opening the patio door which did not have a screen. Location and building looked a little seedy but the floor that City Guest House is on is nice.

Staff was great. Very kind. Clean room. Highly recommend the restaurant that is downstairs at the corner of the street. Room was ready early so that was great after a long flight. About 25 minutes from airport.

Although the room is fairly economical compared to the average price in Rome, the balcony could use some upgrading. There was rust and the furniture needs replacement. Also, the guest house is not recommended for someone who wants to be near the center. Although the metro station is close, the area is quite far from the historical centre which means that after 9pm (the metro closes down at 9),we had to take a taxi back to the guest house which was quite pricey due to the distance.

The managers Christina and Maria are incredible. They are very kind, hospitable and always willing to cater to our needs. They not only booked us transfer from the airport but also provided us with an iron upon request. Also, they constantly answered every question concerning our trip and stay, almost directly. They are great. As for the room, it is spacious, clean and within a small walking distance from the Numidio Cuadrado metro station. It's a quiet neighborhood and there are shops, supermarkets and restaurants nearby.
