The furniture needs some attention.

The hotel is small but comfortable. The location is not the nicest but it’s not too far from Ortigia or other places of interest in Siracusa such as the Neapolis park. Staff is friendly, breakfast is decent, and the room is tidied up every day.

Cleanliness (!) in the bathroom. The cleaning person does the duty in a very negligent manner.

Very central location and walkable distance from Ortigia, the best breakfast we experienced in the Sicily trip.

The location is a bit far from the city centre, but within walking distance. The room was a bit small but the bathroom was very big. Some hot water issues in the shower. Breakfast was nice, but the breakfast room is very small and the staff was not friendly. We got locked out in the evening as they did not communicate the code to open the entrance door during check-in.

The room was clean and the breakfast was nice. Cheap hotel compared to the others in the area. Finding free parking was easy (just in front of the hotel), and there’s also a paying parking next to the hotel if needed.

I recommend the hotel. Good location and easy access by car. The city can be explored on foot from the hotel.

1. The wooden bed heading was detached from the single bed. It was loos and every time I moved it hit the wall making a very loud banging noise. 2. The mattress was thin and uncomfortable. 3. All electricity sockets were flat-formatted and the only rounded European tupe socked was behind a very heavy wooden desk. Therefore, I could not charge my phone and laptop. On the last day I was given a rounded European socket adapter but due to the fragility of it I was not able to charge the equipment either. I believe all these little things can be fixed very easily.

Re: the breakfast Staff - they need to understand that some people, although tourists understand and even speak Italian. So when taking the mickey out of a person who specified that he wanted his English Breakfast tea served with cold milk is simply not on. I honestly didnt feel like having a discussion with them since the quality of my sleep was terrible due to uncomfortable bed and noise from the street.

I really liked the location vis-a-vis being walking distance from Ortygia and the town center. Breakfast was good however the waitresses on hand were quite rude as I will explain later on. The hotel itself was very clean as was my room.

The AC was broken so when the sun rose it was directly on the room making it very hot. It became hotter inside than outside... it was very uncomfortable.

Not very welcoming staff. They gave us no info regarding the stay (time to check out or anything). They forgot to mention that we needed a code to open the door when the reception was empty, so we had to call them to get in. The furniture is quite old, and the bed not very comfortable
