Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Rome hotel prices expensive, even in April
Great location. Friendly and informative front desk. Provided coffee and biscuit when we arrived at around 10 am and room not available. Restaurants right in front of hotel.

Nothing not to like.
Really lovely hotel in a lovely pedestrian area. Good breakfast and very helpful staff. Initially I was a bit unsure about the location before we booked but we walked everywhere easily and actually the surrounding area was lovely in the evening with some wonderful restaurants. So we walked a lot during the day but stayed close to the hotel in the evening which was a really good outcome.

Ordered a taxi from them and was left waiting at the airport for over an hour until we gave up waiting and had to wait on a very long taxi line. Not ideal after a 15 hour flight. Also, the key needed to be re-set a couple of times, again not ideal when you are tired and just want to get back in your room but must go back down to reception.
Location was ideal.. breakfast was generous and excellent quality.. the room was very clean altough there were a few scuffs and dings on the lamp and wall.

We stayed at Hotel Della Conciliazione while visiting Rome and commented every day as to how happy we were to have chosen this hotel. The staff is super nice and helpful. The rooms are beautiful and spacious. The location is perfect with many nearby restaurants and stores.

There isn’t anything I didn’t like. This is our third year in a row at Hotel della Conciliazione and likely to go back again.
The hotel location is excellent. Staff across all departments are professional, helpful and friendly. Breakfast choices cater for all tastes and age groups, with a vast selection of items and drinks. Rooms are clean and have all modern comforts.

The breakfast wasn't amazing, could have had some fresher options, but it wasn't bad! The rooms are also pretty small so just keep that in mind.
Location is great, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The room was always cleaned well and had a minibar with waters.

Nothing , everything was good
Fantastic location , fantastic staff , got given a suite as we were a family and it was unbelievable - really big , 2 separate rooms , huge walk in wardrobe and fantastic bathroom Views of St Peter’s from the large balcony . Room was cleaned very well every day and left immaculate. It really made our stay as we stayed in Rome previously and expected the same , however this hotel was exceptional and if coming back to Rome we will stay here .

Fantastic location! Great street in the heart of Prati neighborhood, less than 5 minutes walk from the Vatican and 10 minutes to Castel Sant’Angelo. Good selection for breakfast, and staff were lovely throughout.

The hotel is located on a quiet pedestrian only street lined with cute cafes and restaurants. It felt very safe. This charming, quiet location made sleeping in a big, noisy city a dream! We did not hear a bit of traffic or noise. Our room had a quiet private courtyard in the back only for us. The hotel was located in Prati, very close to the Vatican and we were able to walk to all points of interest in the city. A highlight was the big daily breakfasts included in our stay. There were many healthy options available including eggs, fruit and salad. Highly recommend.

Breakfast for a 4 star hotel is very mediocre. It would be nice if the hotel owners reconsidered this point. Every day the same thing, on the 4th day we could no longer eat eggs. The choice of vegetables is very small. The only hot dishes are eggs and sausages. Small selection overall 😞
Location - many attractions are within walking distance, especially if you want to stay close to the Vatican, it's only a few minutes walk. There are many shops, restaurants, cafes nearby, open until late. The hotel itself is also quite good, cozy, the staff tries to keep it clean. Towels are changed daily. There are slippers and soap accessories in the room. I was pleased that the room included toothpaste and a brush, as well as cosmetic kits for shaving and makeup removal, and even a shoe brush. The room has a bidet. Good shower, water does not leak onto the floor, as is usually the case in many hotels. There is a heated towel rail as well. The bed for two is large and comfortable. The reception staff are very nice, we got Alessandro and he explained everything in detail 😉

Nothing. This is a gem of a hotel.
Welcoming and professional staff....superb. Room cleaned everyday and spacious with a bath. Spotless hotel. Great breakfast. Very close to St.Peter's square( 6 minutes walk). Loads of restaurants nearby. Really quiet at night. Powerful shower and 5 star beds, so so comfortable. A gem of a Hotel in the centre of Rome. Mamo Gelato across from hotel ...excellent. Look no further! Will be back for my 60th. This was the making of a wonderful holiday.

We ordered breakfast box gor my husband as he had to leave to do marathon before breakfast service and it did jot arrive. We also could not use the AC as the hotel doesn't turn it on till May - room was quite hot despite leaving windows open.
