Listing states AC - this is only true in summer months as its controlled through the whole building (old building) this meant thay we had a very uncomfortable night with the room at 27°c despite thinking we had booker somewhere with ac. Listing also states b&b but no breakfast available - they recommended a very nice nearby cafe. There is an elevator in the building, but you have to climb approx. 10 stairs to reach so was a little difficult with bags and baby pram

Breakfast not available. But they recommended another nearby place which wasn't to our liking as it didn't have any warm foods.

Extremely courteous staff. Especially Mr. Vinchenzo who was very accommodative and even changed us to a bigger room as we travelled with a child. Great Location. Everything from Railway station to important things to do in Florence is within walkable distance, even with a child.

I stayed there 3 nights and they turned off the heat during the days so was cold and the second night they forgot to turn it on so was very cold. Had to have a woolen sweater on and still was too cold. It was only sheets with a blanket and I think it is a bit unsanitary when I do not think that they wash the blanket every time and I at least move about so the sheet is not covering the blanket. Used to duvet and duvet cover. Was thin walls so heard the neighbours a lot. The ventilation filter in the bathroom was not cleaned.

It was a comfortable bed and a great location. Close to both the Duome and to the train station. Overall nicely cleaned except bathroom vent filter.

Reception and welcome excellent. Staff very helpful - with language , restaurant and sites to visit recommendations . Location within site of Duomo. Bed and shower great . Reception on 3rd floor but small lift a few steps up from pavement . Great location for station , airport tram and buses. Ideal if you want to walk round all the historic locations

The smell was terrible, the first night we could not sleep, so we asked in the reception, they said it was due to the sewage, and they gave us a candle, that improved a lot. it is an OLD hotel, so don't expect the most modern,

The staff were really friendly and always willing to help, and the wifi was good. The location is great, not far from the main train station.

Maybe the price, I don’t know if the price is high because the hotel location, but I found it too much.

One of the things that I liked the most about the place was the attention at reception and the artistic theme of each room. Also, the room was clean and in perfect condition.

Air conditioning, during summer we noticed the room was hot even with air conditioning at max, even during the night

Nice and clean room with small fridge, private bathroom with nice shower, windows with good view to the dome and main street, air conditioning is not 100% but it helps a lot with summer heat, this is literally the center of the city, I walked to all important places and didnt need public transport at all, the tram to/from bus station and airport is 100 meters wich is only a 2-3 minutes walk and in Florence tickets are available for 1.5 euros in small automatic machine in every tram stop, you can pay with card or cash on the machine, close to restaurants, all you need is a few minutes away
