They didn’t serve lunch on the pier while we were swimming and situated there so one day we skipped lunch altogether, but that was our choice (not to abandon our lounge chairs), but service was always friendly!

Beautiful hotel. Spotlessly clean. Fabulous gardens and outside seating. Stunning views from the hotel and rooms. Arrangement of the room, furniture and bright white walls and beautiful blue and green tile floors. We have stayed in many five star hotels and this is one of our favorites.

Can't think of a single thing!

We had an incredible experience from the moment we stepped in the grand lobby. We were immediately greeted by the friendly & professional staff who instantly made us feel comfortable & pampered. We were directly escorted to our room by the charming Front Desk Attendant who checked us in, while our luggage quickly followed up another elevator. On our way to the elevator, we couldn't help but feel our hearts skip a beat at the breathtaking view of the Mediterranean Sea through the gorgeous open lobby. Our room was spacious, immaculate & elegant, with an amazing view of the sea. The beautiful hotel grounds, fantastic restaurant & second to none service by the entire staff, in addition to prime location just a short walk from downtown Sorrento, made the Grand Hotel Ambasciatori the new forever destination of our annual trip to Sorrento.

We had lunch and ate dinner in the restaurant. Lunch was great but dinner less so as they really struggled to manage alternatives when told of a dairy allergy.

The hotel is a slow 15 minute walk from the town centre on the edge of the sea with spectacular views across the bay of Naples. The gardens and beach club are a great way to escape the noise / heat of the day.

Tough to get down to the beach and tough to swim there. I would have gone in if they had flotation  devices.

Only concern is that staff around the pool all headed for lunch at 11am and there was no drinks service until midday and no lifeguard on duty

Relatively under populated therefore plenty of space to enjoy the seating areas. A decent walk to Grand Marina to get some exercise before and after dinner with great shopping in between

It's surprising that a 5-star hotel ends breakfast by 10 am. Additionally, while I appreciate the classic Italian charcuteries, there aren’t many options in the Italian charcuteries.

The beach place is absolutely stunning, and the service is top-notch. Truly a delightful experience!
