Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

TurkeyThe decoration of the rooms could have been better. The entrace is not on the street level and you need to carry your luggages one floor up.
The hotel has a superb location in the heart of Amalfi just by the town square with many restaurants and shops around it. It is also in the first raw of buildings behind the beach and just by the bus stops and close to parking. The staff is quite helpful. The breakfast was basic but their coffee was quite good.

RomaniaBest location for Amalfi, we had the room with sea view and it was refreshing to have a sun bath in the morning. Breakfast was between breakfast and colazione - for Italy was actually great. 20 kinds of sweets! Room was spacious, old building, old furniture, but is all ok. I think is the best option in Amalfi.

United States of AmericaNothing.
This was a simple, comfortable hotel in a great location As expected, it was nothing fancy but it was a clean and comfortable room which met our needs for touring the area . It's in a great location, just steps from the ferry port & main transport area and not even a block from the Duomo. If was nice not having to lug our suitcases too far. As advertised, there are 27 steep steps up to front door but once inside, there was an elevator to the other floors. We had a room w/ balcony overlooking the bus/ferry transport as well as the main road through town. We enjoyed watching the police direct traffic which could get crazy at times. We had a window that opened for fresh air but there was no outside noise once shut. Good AC, a firm but comfortable bed, a mini fridge and enough outlets for charging. Small shower but good water pressure & hot water. Breakfast included, nothing fancy but enough pastries, coffee, fruit, and juice served from 8am-10am. The staff was very friendly and helpful and made coffees and tea on request. I thought the accommodation prices were reasonable considering high Amalfi prices during the high tourist season in September. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

United States of AmericaBeds were not comfortable, very firm. Simple decorations and smaller rooms but comfortsble!
Amazingly close to everything in Amalfi - port, beaches, cathedral, and very quiet in the evening! I loved our view of the little square by the port. The breakfast was also better than expected and it was nice to have just 2 flights of stairs to get up from the main square. We were able to walk to Duoglio beach (25 min)and take a ferry back from Artisti beach club (included)! So we only needed to make the climb downhill.

United KingdomVery expensive. We also stayed at hotel Fontana less than 5 minutes walk away which was much quieter, cheaper and very friendly. We moved to this hotel because the other one was fully booked. Noisy at night. Breakfast in the lobby, no dining room for breakfast.
Centrally located.

United States of AmericaNot a bad thing just something to keep in mind when booking - there is no lift for the luggage, so you have to climb 2 short and steep flights of stairs above the gelato stand to get to the reception desk.
A very nice stay! You are in the center of everything with easy access to the ferries, shopping, and good restaurants. Not very quiet naturally because you are in the middle of all the action, but if you want a place that is clean, friendly, and convenient, this is the spot. We would visit again!
