To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Location is superb only 4minutes from st lucia station. Check in time little bit late at 14.00 compare to other hotel but they let us keep our luggage at the hotel. This hotel has lift and room was good, comfortable enough. Breakfast was simple, after all we enjoyed our stay.

I know the furniture is supposed to look "vintage" but it still could use some improvements There is a restaurant outside and it can be noisy especially in the morning. The breakfast room was small and you had to pick the hour when you want to eat to reserve your place The reception is at another hotel very close, not a disadvantage, just something to know about
Breakfast was good, not a lot of options, but a good variety (pastries, omelette, fruits, cheese, etc.) The hotel was clean The place was near the train station and aprox. 25 minutes walk to Piazza San Marco. For me it was a plus, since it wasn't that crowded as in the centre

AustraliaIt was a bit strange that you had to check in at another hotel across the lane but it all worked ok. We were aware that there was no lift but if you have a lot of luggage it could difficult.
The location is excellent, very close to the train station and on the same side so you don’t have to cross any bridges with your luggage. It is also very close to the Grand Canal. The breakfast was good but not quite as elaborate as some we had. The room was smallish but perfectly fine for 2 people. The hotel was located down a laneway and was vert quiet.

AustraliaNo lift - as with a lot of old heritage buildings in Venice No on-site reception - check-in was at a sister property nearby.
The hotel is only about 200m from the main Venice train station - perfect location close to vaporetto stop, with shops, stalls and restaurants all around. The room was comfortable and had everything we needed incl a/c, fridge and kettle. Room was serviced daily.
