Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomWe didn't believe there was anything we didn't like, the hotel could maybe update alittle but it wasn't necessary for our requirements.
The staff were so accommodating and helped us out as much as we needed. We were only here for 1 night but quite happily have stayed longer if we came back. The breakfast was just as advertised and suited all manner of needs.

United KingdomHad to move the headboard as my glasses slipped down behind it and there was some dust and rubbish there. Was not able to have breakfast on the Saturday before flying back as the dining room did not open til 7.30am rather than the monday to friday 7am opening time. Pity the bar was not open!
Fantastic location, 3 mins from station, close to main shopping area. Great selection of food for breakfast. Had an economy twin room for 2 nights which said needed renovation, but the bathroom was lovely and the bedroom was fine. Good value for money. 24 hour reception and luggage storage were good.

SwitzerlandThe entrance is a bit hidden.
The hotel is very close to the main station of Pisa. The room is small but clean. The staff is very friendly. You also get some free bottles of water and coffee. There is a Conad close to the hotel and few pizzerias for late night dinner.

United KingdomOne downside was that the shower didn't drain well.
Our stay at the hotel in Pisa was pleasant overall. The location near the train station was convenient for transportation. Although the room was a bit old, it had a nice charm to it. The highlight was definitely the breakfast, which was great and offered a variety of delicious options.

United KingdomTheir decor's a bit odd and if it was all brought up to a modern style it would be getting rave reviews, but we didn't much mind and appreciated the family-friendly space and breakfast.
The location is great (you can see the hotel as you exit the station - which has a shuttle to the airport), the staff were super friendly (looked after our bags for a few hours when we checked out, recommended a GREAT pizza place we'd never had found without them), breakfast is a really nice buffet which my kids thought was heaven (watch your pancakes being made in a tiny machine, Nutella and sprinkles on tap!), large pleasant double room for our family of 4 - so it had two bedrooms plus a really nice balcony. The decor is a little shabby/old fashioned but it was all clean and we will happily go back next year, so highly recommend.

CanadaThe property is quite old and shows its age. The lift closest to our room was exceptional slow to answer a call, it was faster to walk the 50-60 metres to the other lift.
The accommodations were good. The location is very close to the train station; it also close to the airport (cost 13 Euro for 12-15 minute ride). The buffet breakfast was very good and extensive. Check in and check out were smoothly handled and efficient.
