We did not like the extra bed that the hotel had for my sister was extremely uncomfortable, the mattress was split in half and had a hole, so my sister couldn't sleep in that bed, we had to put pillows under the mattress to see if she could sleep that way.

The shower was miniscule and i had to consider carefully how to pickup the shampoo I'm 5'7" and 135 lbs, and flexible. But the shower head was good with nice control. We knew we were on a high floor and there is no lift. Be aware the stairs are tight. Once inside the locked street door we left our bags on the first landing and took them up one at a time. Still, we would def stay again. Location!

Great continental+ breakfast for 4 euro. Excellent location only about 100 yds off of S.Marcos Square, easy walk to Rialto. Good neighborhood, quiet at night. Lots of restaurants. The room was comfortable, with a fridge. Comfotably appointed.The bed was great. Bathroom ok, with good hot water. We had a nice view of the church next door and the shopping way below. All the 'streets' are narrow walkways. The complete lack of land vehicles was fabulous.

Excellent welcome, attentive staff. Good breakfast. Pity though, that a noisy family spent the first night on the floor above ours. Still, I recommend this locanda wholeheartedly.

Small bathroom

Little room in San Marco Location is great ! 3 mins to St. Mark’s Square and St. Mark’s Basilica Room is small but you probably don’t need more. It did have a round table with few chairs, small desk spot with undercounter fridge and the armoire. bathroom was also small - shower is really tiny - I’m small about 5’2” and 105 lbs and I fit but might be harder for some people. Please note, that the hotel is on 4 or 5th floors (I forget) and you have to use stairs to get up carrying the luggage :) We were fine since we are on the younger and healthy side , however may not suit for other people . Room was clean but really outdated and definitely in need of remodelling and redecorating. breakfast was good :) Check in process was quick and without issues. Overall , good experience . We didn’t spend much time in the room. Bed was fine!

Beds especially sofa bed not comfortable . Long stair case. We were not informed that st.mark square was flooded the say we arrive. It was a big hassle to carry luggage to the casa sul molo.

Breakfast is served in the room and the small table makes it difficult to fit things. Breakfast is basic: a croissant, toast, yoghurt, a juice and jam/honey. The rooms are not soundproof so expect to hear everything happening in the adjacent rooms, including everything that people talk.

The stairs to the reception were a bit of a workout for my parents but we understood that it was part of the architecture, however, the wonderful stay completely made up for that.

I liked the location of the hotel, it was a short walking distance from the square and close to a variety of places to eat and buy things. My room was relatively, quiet, I could barely hear noise from the outside which made for a good night's sleep. I really liked the concept of having breakfast being brought up to the room, that was definitely my favorite part. The staff was so friendly and we definitely enjoyed our two-night stay!

No elevator, the room was on the 4th floor, hard to go up with your luggage. The mattress wasn’t very comfortable.

There is no great view from the windows and some facilities (like shower drain or the air conditioner) were quite old, however, it wasn’t a problem for us at all because we valued the location and the cleanliness the most, the best views in Venice are outside :)

The location is truly amazing, just a few minutes of walking straight (!) to San Marco Square. The staff was very friendly and the room was cleaned perfectly every day :) A very pleasant stay!
