There was scaffolding outside our room window which meant we didn’t have the view over the piazza which would have been beautiful I’m sure. However, this wasn’t an issue for us as we understand work has to be done and these things can’t be helped.

Our room was very spacious and beautifully furnished, with a stunningly painted ceiling. Everywhere was so clean and comfortable, and there was even tea and coffee making facilities in the lounge for guests to help themselves. The breakfast was delightful and the staff couldn’t do enough to accommodate us. We had a lovely cappuccino with our breakfast each morning that was topped with a smiley face. 🙂

We had one of those showers that you can't get the right temperature, when you go cold it goes hot and viceversa. The staff at our arrival was not very friendly. We required the valet service for our car and it seemed that they were doing us a favor.

Location was just perfect. The breakfast was also very nice, delicious croissants. The staff at the breakfast room was very nice and helpful.

There was nothing to dislike about Hotel Penini.

The room was lovely, very comfortable beds, with a little balcony over the famous Piazza della Republica in Florence. So there was a lot of happy going on in the Piazza on this beautiful spring night, as soon as we stepped back in the room and closed the French doors it was silent. Staff were quite wonderful. They allowed us to store bags for a few days while we had a car trip to Urbino before checking in. Then had the bags waiting in our room when we arrived several days later. Their breakfast room is very sweet and the offerings were fantastic, very fresh pastries and wonderful coffee as well as fruits, cheeses, etc.. Everyone we interacted with was pleasant and helpful. We stay here for 3 nights last week. Very good location, in the center yet quite. The staff is very nice especially the person serving breakfast. Very good breakfast. The front desk people prepared 2 breakfast bags for us since we left the hotel early in the morning. thanks

The only down point (not down to the Hotel) but the noise pollution at night was disappointing. Why oh why does the council allow refuse collection at 5am???

The hotel was ideally located and the staff were very attentive and polite. Everybody spoke English which was great. The room was a little smaller than I hoped but very clean.

Hotel Pendini is situated in the very heart of Florence. Our stay was unforgettable. Little details make the difference; free tea, juice, and coffee at the lobby, a nice breakfast basket because we had to leave at 07.00 for our excursion.. Thank you for your remarkable hospitality!

The temperature was warm in the room so we would often open the windows. The furnishings were a little old and the room was certainly not modern, but it was still comfortable.

The location was great and it had such a nice old world charm to it. The sitting room near the lobby was a beautiful lounge with free coffee and drinks through the day. The breakfast was fantastic.

I hate to say it, but I am pretty sure housekeeping went through our gifts from our trip to Venice and helped themselves to one of my purchases. I know I should have put more emphasis to managing my belongings, but it's just so unfortunate this occurs.

The location and amenities were just as we expected. Breakfast was delicious and staff delightful. Grateful for elevators and a room phone that worked for local calls.

The location was a very good stay , great location in the centre of Florence and only 10 minute walk from the train station. The room was large and comfortable, the breakfast choice was very good. The Hotel is full of history and interesting photos displayed. There was a nice lounge area and a bar fridge that you paid for items at the Reception desk, the prices were very reasonable.
