With the older building the heating would not turn off, but windows and doors opened onto balcony. Bathroom was clean but shower a little dated/temperamental.

Hotel is full of character and has been maintained well. Original features have been maintained and still obviously cared for by the staff. All very friendly.

Firstly, the location was fantastic, offering easy access to the city centre. What truly captured my attention was the serene green area with the palm trees in front of the hotel, providing a peaceful retreat amidst the bustling city. The breakfast selection was amazing. From fresh fruits to delicious pastries and everything in between, there was something to cater to every palate. It was a delightful way to start each day of my stay. I was pleasantly surprised by the spaciousness of the room. It provided ample space to relax and unwind after a day of exploring the city. The cleanliness of the room was also commendable, making my stay even more comfortable. One of the highlights of my stay was indulging in a massage at the hotel spa. The experience was truly rejuvenating and left me feeling relaxed and pampered. The staff was very helpful with organising taxis or helping with luggage. Overall, my experience at the hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a wonderful stay in Bologna.

According the received hotel information I navigated to the parking address which failed and I drove the first round 🤨 to the hotel address. I asked the night porter for the parking. As he told me to turn left at the end of the street to enter, I found a one way street sign. Second round😤 and upset question after night round🚗💨 again. He jumped out of reception and marched vigorous out of the door and showed it me personally- with the very helpful information to drive an additional extended round to reach the garage entry. Generally the hotel is a good address. Due to the level I personal would expect a wider variety on breakfast choice... ...and dispensers for soap etc. in the bathroom❗️ The amount on used/scrapped little PET vials/bottles in such a big hotel appears not adequate anymore. A refill system will be probably the better solution for our environment as well as reduce cost and waste of the hotel. May I get an invite for free on that -potentially- successful suggestion? Let's find together a matching solution fitting to the nice classic soap slots in the walls of the bathrooms.🤓 Ah, additional information: We had to change to a Junior Suite - very nice and comfortable in general. Using the whirlpool, unfortunately the pipe water was brown and brought a lot of particles in the tub. The adjustments of the pool did not show any functionality, as well as the handle for the drain closure became useless after a few times draining the brown water and had been fallen at least in the water...

Lights go off in the hallway at night it should be a sensor so when you walk it turns on and then off once you leave the area.

Great location to bus and train station. Staff were extremely accommodating. Lovely breakfast in a nice airy room. Enjoyed seating in the lobby for guest to wait and mingle.

We started our experience at the hotel with a disappointing welcome at the reception. Upon arrival, the receptionist failed to greet us warmly and instead rudely remarked, 'I hope you're not looking for rooms to book because we do not have any,' without even inquiring about our booking reference number. This initial interaction left a sour taste and was quite off-putting. Additionally, the room was uncomfortably hot, and unfortunately, the air conditioning system was non-functional. Furthermore, we encountered a maintenance issue with the toilet seat, which was broken.

Absolutely fantastic stay! The delicious breakfast offered a variety of options and the coffee was delightful. The rooms were incredibly comfortable. It is located near both the railway station and the city center and getting around was very easy. Despite its proximity to the city's amenities, the hotel is nestled in a quiet area. Impeccable cleanliness was evident throughout the premises.

The breakfast was good, but the food was a little bit cold all three days even though we are at different times. It would be nice to have more warm food options. Coffee wasn't the best but the desserts and breads quite good.

The location is perfect, walkable distance from the centre. Clean, gorgeous facilities.

Lack of proper heating, due to the fact that the room was never lit by sunlight A lot of sugar cereals and cakes for breakfast, among a lot of other things cold cuts and cheese, though they have gluten free product for those who need that. They have no idea of airport buses during night time and would rather recommend a taxi at prox 20-35 euro. The very early morning flights a served by Marconi bus at 4 am ( only one bus ) from behind the train station.

The room could have been equipped a bit better. I had to walk from my room to the Reception, then to the bar, then back to my room with opened bottle of wine as there was no cork screw in the room and at the reception. Also, as we had an early flight back home we asked for a packed breakfast, which contained bread, crackers, cookies, fruits and a bottle of water - nothing that we'd normally had at this time of the day.
