Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Cleanliness and fix some old part and furniture and a dirty wallpaper Andddddd the very pour thing!!!! That should not happen in this hotel level is the cleanliness Poor towel!!! not clean I found the bad thing in the new towel that hanging in under the restroom counter!!! it’s destroyed all my perception of this hotel level.
Staff, all of them very helpful and so kind to help us to manage and operation all of we prefer. They give us a solution and suggestion for our trip

Breakfast started at 7am & room was full shortly after due to big tour group. Secondary breakfast room was unappealing back room & only ok food options. Was a negative ending to otherwise enjoyable stay. Should have stuck bus tour group in back there.
Location was great for access to Rome Termini & Metro. Also Central Market with good food options for dining at reasonable prices was close & next to station. Got upgrade to spacious room with balcony. Comfortable bed. Huge bathroom. Friendly & helpful front desk & guest relations.

The breakfast buffet is fantastic. I have done a lot of traveling, and it may be the best breakfast buffet I've had. The location is good, and you're within walking distance of the Colosseum, the Forum, the Spanish Steps, and Trevi Fountain. My room was very comfortable, and the staff there is top notch. I stayed there twice during my travels, and the 2nd time my luggage did not make the flight from Milan I was told by the airline that it would be sent to the hotel the next day, but did not arrive. The staff at the front desk called ITA for me, and was able to track it down. They had them hold it at the airport since I was departing the following day. They also called the taxi company I had booked, and reschedule my pickup time earlier, so I could get my luggage at the airport. I've stayed there twice, and would highly recommend UNAHOTELS Deco Roma, and would absolutely stay there again.

Very small room. No coffee in the room which was very dissapointing.
Breakfast was not spectacular but it was adequate. I paid extra for a room with a terrace and it was worth it. The location was fabulous if you were taking the train or Metro. Very clean and the staff was nice.

I liked that there was an electric kettle in the room but I wondered why there were no cups (there was a paper cup and complimentary water) and no tea bags or instant coffee. It's unusual for such a well equipped traditional hotel. Fortunately I had some herbal tea with me so it wasn't a major drawback.
It's a classic 4 star hotel, very close to Termini. The room was clean and comfortable, and since I had an evening flight, the fact that they set check-out hours at 12pm is a major plus. Excellent staff both at the reception and in the bar on the ground floor.

Although it was really easy to go to all sites due to the location, central station location is always a tricky place due to some drunk people at night and police in the area all the time.
Excellent hotel, big and cozy room, lovely staff, amazing breakfast! Really easy to go from the hotel to all touristic sites as this hotel is 2 minutes from Termini station.
