Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

I booked the hotel for one night and because it was so busy I couldn’t extend my stay therefore i left 😩
The hotel is amazing with it location, cleanliness, comfortable facility and wonderful staff. Once we arrived the receptionist welcomed us with a lovely smile and once they know that we are visit Verona for first time directly they shared with us the map with the most important places there I liked my experience there

Will not use booking.com again. System doesn’t work.
We were very upset with booking.cim since when we booked the rate quoted on the the site which was CHF 420 done past nom/dec 2023 and when we checked availability for the same day the rate was CHF 235 for the same accommodation. The hotel unfortunately couldn’t do much since it was not under their control. Booking.com didn’t not attempt to contact us to say that there was a better deal. We have decided from now on to do booking directly with the property. So we will no longer use Booking.com. I have been using it for more than 10 years. I had written on the same web site expressing my concerns on the vast difference in pricing. I again did not receive any response. Bad very bad experience

First morning the breakfast was a bit chaotic with staff struggling to keep tables clean and helping new guests with orders of eggs and coffee.
Loved the design of hotel, ease of check-in and great location within the city.

The bedroom had a glass panel from floor to ceiling which meant you could see straight into the shower area in the bathroom. Not really a problem as we had a separate sitting area. Not sure whether the other bedrooms have this feature, but good to know as this might not suit everyone.
Beautifully decorated and very clean throughout. Lots of different spaces to sit if you don’t want to stay in your room. Liked the jazz music that was playing in the evenings. My sister and I were upgraded to a junior suite and it was perfect, really made our stay. Very clean, spacious and comfortable. Any staff we came across were very friendly and helpful. Lots of attention to detail. Great variety for breakfast. The hotel is in the perfect location. All sights are within 5 to 15 mins walking distance. The train station is a 20 minute walk and we did a trip to Lake Garda which again only takes around 20 mins. I would definitely stay here again.

Everything was perfect.
Everything was perfect. The reception and guest relations staff was amazing and super friendly. Very clean and comfortable plus the concept is unique. The location is great you definitely feel the city charm.

Fantastic hotel using all of the old Roman features of the property and beautifully blending them with modern touches. Excellent location for exploring the city as you can walk to everything. Wonderful help from Sylvia for my group of 24 in organising a quick check in transfers and recommending a fabulous restaurant. If you’re going to Verona stay here!

NH Collection is a short walk to everything. Restaurants nearby are great and are a bargain in terms of quality and price that I experience in Los Angeles. I hope to make a return trip to spend more time and gain a better appreciation of the history and culture.
A beautiful hotel with excellent accommodations, staff and location. It's also the site of Roman ruins that have been preserved and can be viewed near the front desk. Amazing!

The location was great. Right in the centre of Verona. The hotel smelt so clean and was beautiful. The staff were really friendly and we loved our room.

Staff were not just only nice but really try to solve your problem to provide you with the most comfortable stay whether it's about parking, finding a nice restaurant or late check-in. The location cannot be better and room is luxurious enough considering it's not Milan. Price is also competitive if you compare the prices with equivalent level of hotels in other cities in Italy.
